CCA is a gimmick brought out by car audio companies. It is 100% not worth the money or time. People who will tell you otherwise do not understand how current flow through different metals works...
  2. 4 12 inch subs 7.25 cubic feet net 257 square inches of port area tuned to 32 hertz
  3. My current setup is ok, but I think it is time to take things to the next level. My current project is upgrading to an active front stage. Later I hope to add another 12" GCON or maybe upgrade to a 15" XCON. Anyway, I got my HU and I am waiting for my seas 7" woofers to arrive. As soon as I get paid I will be ordering the tweets. Then the fun begins! I installed the 80prs and ditched the passives on my entry level BA comps. After an hour or so of tweaking The sound is WAY better! I am not going to spend too much time dialing them in since I will be replacing them soon, but I want to get used to the control of active tuning...I love it! Here are a few pics. I measured for space, but wanted to make sure I could fit the new drivers, so I mocked them up with cardboard to test fit before I spent the money. All that did was make me even more excited for this upgrade! Waiting is the hardest part. Here it is so far: I am really looking forward to the new setup. I am excited and nervous to try my hand a fiberglassing. I will update as things progress.
  4. And yes I am anal.
  5. Just finished up cleaning the headlight lenes. Clean Dirty
  6. All teams should be doing that.He crossed a line. While I agree, they should strive to be as healthy as possible, it's still ultimately up to them what they put in their body. They are grown men.I'd disagree. As long as the Eagles are paying for the food and putting millions of dollars in those men's bank accounts, the Eagles can decide what to serve in the cafeteria. They're nothing but employees, and employers can decide what food the company is going to serve in the company's cafeteria. Now if he tried to dictate what they ate outside of the company cafeteria, I'd agree. But on company property, company money and company time....company decides.
  7. The 4Runner appears to be hating life in that last video.
  8. That is some evil flex.
  9. At this level it is brutal to sit in the 4runner, but Senchez likes flex.

Fs, Cms and Qms are different between the drivers. Could be a difference due to production tolerances, or it could be a difference in the suspension of the two speakers. Based on the listed Re the coils are also different. I know you said "differences seem to be in the motor", but the voice coil is part of the soft part assembly.
  11. And now a shot I like to call, The XCON and the Dog!
  12. all those examples.... I'd make love to those cars... everything is sooooo clean!!!
  13. Pm me a picture of what LV purse she would like. I get them on the cheap here on base, they are 110% real and I would be more than happy to ship for you. J
  14. Go with weldingsupply.com wire. It's cheaper and it's OFC. OFC is oxygen free copper and CCA is copper clad aluminum. OFC allows more current to go through.
  15. Must be a slow news day:
  16. Who would trust email to handle that????
  17. J - you only need 1 suit atm, an interview suit. If you have a second interview you should have a second. A way to offset that is to have a neutral suit and two VERY distinctly different shirts. As for colors. I don't wear suits. I have a couple, but they are worthless to me. On the other hand sport coats are the bomb. Nearly as dressy and you can wear the same one all week, in particular when you visit different customers. So what does this mean for colors? ALL my pants go with all my sport coats and pretty much all my shirts. It does mean I stack stripes sometimes, but that IMO is even acceptable. All my pants are shades of gray to black. I generalize my colors of ties too. Blues with Yellow for instance works with any whitish, yellow or blue shirt. The goal for me is to pack one tie, two pants, one sport coat and 5 shirts for a week. Same reason your shoes should be black. Until you have 3 good pairs of black dress shoes changing colors is self defeating.
  18. thanks j and im woking on it.. ill have to premake the eggwhites or somthing because the is not there before hand i have 20 mins to wake up get out of bed get dressed get in my truck and drive to the otherside of town or even further to work a wreck most time.. but that is NOT why i mentioned living life my phone. i mentioned that to say my body has no clue when is when.. like post people,. and with that said, today i have already had a litter of water, and a some raw nuts. thanks and i have tried to read.. alot... but there are SOOOO many conflicting reads online. its hard to find what is fact and what is not... too many dip shits with blogs im trying
  19. definitely tuned in for this.
  20. You mean a flathead V8? It has a flathead in it now. I do agree with you though. Lakepipes are the ONLY way to run a flathead V8, and IMO, is what this car should run. Beautiful ride! I just sold those bumper extensions a couple months ago. I happen to be a big fan of the baby moons and large whitewalls. All the Ford/Lincoln/Mercury flatheads sound great running straight pipes IMO
  21. No way I would paint it. I would CLR the entire outside, buff it then clear coat over what's there. White walls and baby moons or even the stock steel wheels painted red with white walls. Cool car and I'm sure you will have fun whichever direction you go.

  25. Got a nice pic of the xcon next to the gcon. Can't believe how the x dwarfs the g! and the gcon is no slouch. Love it! The other xcon should be here tomorrow
