I think it will fall off terribly below tuning, this is my opinion based off my taste and preference. Not sure why anyone would need 20+sq in of port and hoping it to sound good. Nice enclosure but the bandwidth will be small as hell

I was a little worried about having 150, but there's so many different port calculators and then also people on different forums that say in that range. At first my design was 7.7 cubes tuned to 29hz with 120 inches of port. But I thought that might be a little too small. Anyways hopefully your wrong swift, cause I've put a lot of work into this box.

  10. It was pretty quiet when I saw it. Yah, you missed Slamology. I wish you would have made that. It really was an IAK event. We had that bish on lock with all the members there lol. I have plans to bring both vehicles next year. The burban towing the elantra will be a site to see. I feel like it's going to be just like Jason with his Alero lol. When I as out Chuck was removing his subs to sell right in the parking lot. No doubt he is loud as all IAK guys are.
  11. Sub enclosure was taken out over my days off from work. Hoping to start pulling down the headliner & panels over the next few weeks. I have deadener but will most likely need some expanding foam to fill in the voids in my crossmember/bracing. As a few have heard, my truck has become quite the rattlebox I get rattles from other people demoing next to me even when I'm not playing anything......FML!
  12. I guess you could call this thread "consumer awareness"
  13. I personally think you have too much port area now. Maybe even too much box and port. But this is my opinion. I would have done about 7.5cu with 100sqin of port. You need to make your mind up if your goal is SPL or something that sounds good. If you want both you need alot more cone area and power. One sub isn't gonna do it all.
  14. Send me some links to some images and when i get a chance ill see what i can do
  15. The XCONs are bad ass, and don't need a lot of power to get loud. I had two 12's on 1300 watts total and they absolutely destroyed my car. And when I wasn't "showing off" they sounded excellent at normal listening levels. With a budget of 2k I would run less power, and make sure you have a solid front stage. You can have awesome results with your budget, but dumping it all into subs and amps that you can't properly power is not the way that I would suggest going.
  16. I would just give it some time I sent an email on the website & took awhile to get response I sent Nick an email & he answered my question in like a day or two. It took a little while for status change of my order on the website but it was which worried me at 1st but it was no big deal cause they were just short staffed in the office. I feel the build time estimate was accurate cause I got my subs in about 15 days or so.
  17. . . . . And then give that money to lazy ass people with no job who don't contribute to shit.
  18. you got that right FUCK overtime. Already got over 800 hrs of it this year so far. They can keep it. I'm tired of giving Obama 38% of my time and a half. pucking ridiculous that they penalize you for working more than your fair share.
  19. Seems fitting to place this picture in here.
  20. What are your thoughts Timmy?
