  1. This arthritis shit moved into my jaw, so I have been nibbling like a goldfish. Took my meds today and ate a salad and barely had any issue, then grabbed a bed frame for a guest who had been in early in the week and I realized I wasn't limping nearly at all and was able to move it across the floor to the desk for him. This is amazing. If this is just helping with the tendons, and sympathetic pain, how awesome will I be when I'm on the good shit? OMFG this is awesome.
  2. I will say though I started going to the gym same time I quit smoking. Guy asked me what I do to deal with stress now. I hadn't really thought of it this way before, but the gym is an amazing stress reliever. My best workouts have came after a shitty day at work. Nothing quite like taking the pissed off out by thrashing your body good at the gym.
  3. Do a wall with a pair of 10s and knock out a 160 and blow people's minds. Something you don't see much of.
  4. Minimum class, because of the six batteries going underneath the truck, is Modified 4. So I will need at least a 157 at the headrest, fused, to be an top 5 finalist. I will also be doing Park and Pound 4. Which is meter 6 feet away, 30 second average. I would need to have at least a 136db. I will also attempt to become a world finalist for DB Drag as well. For it, I will be competing in Bass Race, 30 seconds sealed on the dash average. I will for sure be doing the 149.9 class. Once the third amp is in, I will "attempt" the 159.9 class.
  5. And PPI. Can't forget all those pistons. I do agree here though. I love the build and the idea, but IMO a tribute should be relative. This would be like building a tribute to Henry Ford with a Chevy.
  6. That DC seems to be missing something.
  7. Like all forums, traffic can come in waves. We have a large college member base, so I know a number of people are locked down working on finals at the moment or are busy with builds. Whereas others are finally starting to get above 50F days and some sun light past 6pm, so they might prefer the outside. It's great to see the posts in this topic. One thing Mark and I can see that most others don't really see, is the tremendous amount of traffic the site gets from people just here to read and learn. So our actual traffic levels are pretty much on par with other large forums, we just don't have gobs of OFF Topic sections or non-car audio focused stuff. If people would like me to add certain sections that they think would be popular and would open the site up more, I am all ears as always. The difference here, both from the forum side and the business side, is nothing is shady or hidden or deleted and no trigger happy ban buttons by the moderators.
  8. Yeah, not much really going on. We're a small crowd here, but, we all pretty much know each other, so it's kind of like a small long distant family haha.
  9. Another typical derailed SSA thread. Chill out guys. To the OP. That is a well used amplifier in the car audio world. Holds up great in everyday use and in competition if set up and used correctly. Hope this helps.
  10. heres the problem I see with ur 1st paragraph...... (just look at the rms and if its in the range and ur budget) a funky pup amp the has "1700 watts of awesome bass power!!!!" For 69.99 (just make sure its a reputable brand that will do rated power) who determines what brands are reputable -funky pup could be reputable- and without testing how do we know what power theyre putting out out 4,2,1, 0.5 ohms???the 1st line of ur 2nd paragraph..... again if benching and clamping tests are gimmicks, bs, stupid and illegitamate should I assume and trust the wattage that every audio company puts on theyre box and in the pamphlets? If a funky pup amp is benched or clamped tested and puts out 173 watts at 4ohms, 350 watts at 2ohms and 801 watts at 1ohm but goes into protection after 4 seconds should I ignore those results and buy it cause the tests are gimmicks?
