Everybody? Lol, just the idiots that frequent his site and waste money on stuff that does nothing positive. All the ones who actually understand how things work either get banned, deleted or removed. He came on here once to try to sell his product and we asked some very simple questions that he couldn't even answer. Anyone who thinks his stuff is great, has zero idea about audio. Bummer that the exception can be the sub with his name on since he had really no influence in its design anyways.
  2. Better to ask questions here than to read on some dumb forum. Camera forums are worse than Caraudio.com. The reviews are pitiful and ideas ridiculous. Obviously exceptions to every generality, but between a few of us we can surely answer and point you in the right direction. The best method of learning is to try to control as much as you can and see what it does. Go experiment with different settings and review them in the metadata for what worked and what didn't. The only hard part for you is that you are going to have a seriously impossible time getting any bokeh in portraits as your lenses are too slow. You can, but it will require that you get the background much further away than with a fast lens. Exactly why in my house the 50mm lives on the camera.
  3. May have to grab my long Tamron super zoom and take some pics of the boys soccer game.
  4. Doing it right if you are going to learn the hard way. Buy used, figure it out and sell. Those lenses are good for that. Pay attention to what you shoot, what you don't like and the rest will get logical. I'm curious to find out what range you think you want to upgrade first. Hell I'm excited to watch.

He did not make that tool, his name was put on it for marketing purposes to sell a lot to people who didn't know better. A couple of his other tools have caused more harm then good due the endless stream of new users that have blind faith in something like two blinking LED's for example. We (Mark/Josh/me) have sold the SMD model in the past. I am not thrilled about selling something that has someones signature on it for them to make profit off of, based off how they have treated people over the years, how I was banned from their forum for no reason at all, and how they have acted on this forum when honest questions were asked about the products with that logo on it.

And a year or 2 ago I was on his site and was questioning one of his products. Not even bashing at all and everything I said got deleted and I got kicked off the site and can not make a new account. . Just seems kinda fishy to me that noone is even aloud to question any of his products or they get banned from the site forever

Some amps have a "mirror setting option", like the Incriminator Audio ones : you have one amp per sub, but you set only the first one. All the settings go to the other amp with just the mirror link. I like that possibility. A friend of mine ran 2 pair of Sundown SAZ 1000's on 2 Xcons (later on 2 BTL) : They last for years before he sold them in mint conditions !
  8. I had originally wanted a lower Fs, but the design changed, and I really liked the sound and performance. The Qts. worked out to be around where I was aiming, and they are a little more efficient then I had originally planned. Tweaks can always be made for the next run, but as they stand, they are very smooth and have no odd coloring or break up.
  9. I'll have to pull my laptop out to see what WinISD said, but the slope is very shallow and coupled with the transfer function inside the vehicle it's really pretty average results from what I've seen from other drivers I've modeled in IB.
