Billy Jack, honestly brother, you're going about this forum thing all wrong brother. It's very easy to get along with everyone here (including Speaker boy) if you go about this in a polite, understanding manner. First off, quit trying to point out everyone's so called mistakes. Especially moderators. Just by this alone your points will start going up. I can tell you more, but you have to read and comprehend. If you know ALOT, show it ... don't Bragg about it. This will loose everyone attention every time. Dude, I'm not bashing you. Seriously, I'm trying to help.
  2. I have noticed, as well as a few people have messaged me about it, abuse of the rep system. It is just a simple forum feature for people to have a little reaction to a singular post based on the content of that post, be it positive if it is a beneficial post or if you really like the content, or negative if it is detrimental or you really don't like the content. Not something to have a personal vendetta against another user to down vote every post of theirs. Personally, I feel it is ok to have both the positive and negative if the system is not going to abused. But, if it is going to continue to be abused, I will turn off the negative option and we can move to being like other forums where it has to be a safe place and we can't have any critical thinking.
  3. Read one page of this and felt compelled to say that 'this' is exact why I don't visit SSA like I used to. every thread turns into bickering.
  4. It goes without saying that here on SSA we are adults and when our ideas are challenged we should look at it as an opportunity to convey our FACTS to support our claims instead of allowing it to deteriorate into an insult-fest. As we go through life we have plenty of opportunity to learn and improve ourselves. Therefore, no matter what kind of criticism is aimed at you, look at it from a third perspective and try to learn from it. We're not here to spoon feed you or tell you exactly what you want to hear, we're here to grow as a forum and better our community. Just because someone is attacking your ideals does not mean they are personally attacking YOU, You often need to step back and identify what is being said instead of applying what you think is being said. If another member has something negative or constructive to say, don't disregard their comments even if you don't have a high opinion of the person. Instead of shutting down, stay objective about what they are saying. Be prepared to ask follow-up questions during the conversation in order to prevent a bigger misunderstandings. Asking questions shows that you're willing to figure out a solution and that opens up a meaningful exchange that will lead to better understanding and even a learning opportunity yourself and for others.
  5. I do not pay attention to the rule of thumb..... I think it's bullshit........... I use what ever port area gives me good port velocity I refuse to build an enclosure that creates port noise
  6. Nice. So you post stupid shut and people call it out so you respond with the maturity of a 7th grader. Btw, a lot of who you think are my buddies don't like me. They just think your posts suck.
  7. The equipment is all our own design...but if you read, you knew that. I could give a shit less if you believe me. Your ignorance however is annoying.
  8. Again, a quick bit of research and you wouldn't sound like an idiot. I am a Physicist, working as the VP for a Metrology company that focuses on Noise & Vibe measurements. Have a lab with over $8M in acoustic and vibration measuring gear and a team of Engineers working for me. We do consultative measurements for companies with WAY more capability than anyone Tony the dipshit has ever even met. This includes about every big audio company you can ever think of along with every company that are in these industries: automotive, aerospace, consumer electronic, etc. The only thing in question here is your statement of being educated, you sure don't show that, rofl.
  9. All you need is a clean sweep factory integration and you can run a entire system off your factory head unit but still have proper after market sound. And many different company's make them audio control, fosgate, and many more.
  10. I usually do not involve myself in these threads but..... Billy Jack.. go back and read some of your threads and posts.... seriously dude..... hertz vs frequency ???? .. LOL my autistic son could draw a diagram and explain it to you in detail if your going to Forest Gump yourself here you will have to expect the flack that comes with it.... and take it dry
  11. Why are you trolling ??? What difference does it make ??? If you hate what people do here, why are you still here ???
  12. Lost my mind, lol. Saying to not get butt hurt is not calling you names. This is. You are obviously a moron. Get the difference?
  13. Because some people are morons and can't read. Let me help:
  14. Billy your Again you forgot to read. Imagine that. My 7 year old has better reading comprehension than you. You should try reading, comprehending, THINKING and then typing.
