  4. If you never ordered from SSA or Fi then you cant speak on wait times, end of story. Obviously that evil thread was a year ago and someone commenting on it brings it up to recemt topics but that is too hard for you to understand. You continue to fail due to your ignorance.
  5. Perhaps not, but you ARE a representative of the company and all we've heard from all of you is one excuse after another, and that's all they are no matter what you say or do. Next time, just say, I don't have access to the check book. Don't post anything about any of your other problems. People don't want to hear it. The simple answer is, you guys could not provide this customer what he ordered. Let's get the man his money back so we can close this thread and everyone can go on their merry ways.

How's this, I need a large alt for my van, send me one, I will verify it works properly has proper output and it durable. Then I will send you the money, would you do that? Why shouldn't you? We have thousands of happy customers, why shouldn't you be one of them? Not trying to be crass, but there has never, ever been any question about what our alternators are capable.. If you want the best, we have it.. If you want something big, we have that too.. Durable, last time I checked our return rate was hovering around .05% (5/1000) which is unheard of for even stock alternators. If you want an alternator, call us, order it and ask that we don't charge until we ship. Pretty simple.. But you can't even get this handled so why would I trust any amount of my money with you? It sounds to me like this was an intricate one-off piece that DC Power wanted to ensure would be perfect for the customer the first time it was installed by the customer, so it would make sense that it takes some time and reworking to get it perfect. It's a shame to see the consistent fail in DC's suppliers and outside shops and, while that is out of their control, I think damage control could have been done sooner by apologizing for their inability to fill the order due to these shortcomings in their third-party affiliates. The fact that DC kept the customer believing the order would be filled in a timely manner is really what made a bad situation a horrible one. Pretty much you hit that on the head.. Yes, we took our time on this because something this specialized cant be the only thing you work on, so it has to be worked on at certain times.. All in all, between waiting on outside parties, there was probably 2 months time lost in here once we started working in earnest on it.. Other than parts that disappeared and the 16v issue, this was probably the single best engineered bracket I ever did. And when I get it back, I'm going to frame the MF'r and put it on my wall in my office! In a nutshell, trying to do something no sane human would try to do in the first place usually ends up being problematic, and this one ended very disasterously for us, lesson learned, trust me.. But you can't even get this handled so why would I trust any amount of my money with you? First off this isn't a marriage it doesn't work both ways......I purchased something from you and you can't deliver..And you have be nut if you think I'm going to send this back with out any money.and I dont want a check.....you can send it pay pal or wire transfer .....also its funny I have over 30 drivers that call me 24 hours a day and you are the only one that can't get me....and yes you did call today and I was on the phone both times you called. but like i said this is bullshit..you sold me something over two years ago and can't deliver and i still have to back and forth with you to get my money back.

  12. I haven't gotten back word from anything. I can't even get calls back when i call you guys. Yeah i bought it second hand. After you guys had just fixed it. It wasn't supposed to break again but it did. It's not my fault that i have been out 3 months without a alt because yours broke on me. I haven't been shown good customer service man, i haven't gotten any phone calls back. I have asked for updates and i get none back. I'm not running my mouth, i am just showing the difficulties and the problems in this situation that i semi experience in mine.

Your labels went out today, you don't want to send them back, then do what you gotta do.. ***for the record, nobody has done a 3/4/5/6 alternator setup on that engine for that setup, it's not possible to do it with the way everything is mounted to the engine on the stock front end accessory drive.. If it was as easy as you seem to think it is, it would have already been done.. You don't believe me, you go right ahead and do it yourself without changing the entire FEAD to the '96-'00 Vortec. Dominick didn't one up us by doing 6 alts, he had the one luxury we didn't have, he had the GD vehicle.. It's pretty easy to do things when you actually have a vehicle sitting in front of you, it's kind of hard when it's several thousand miles away.. Had we actually had that luxury, I promise it wouldn't have lingered, same goes for your instance...**
  14. Yeah, well they're shipping today so consider the saga over and done with.... Me calling you a thief.....What do you call it when i send you money and you don't send everything i payed for. and what you did ship me is useless it's not 18 volts and cannot be made to got o 18 volts. and here where you said you were done... so how was the correct items going to be shipped if you said you were over and done with...... "So DC Power had no intention in full filling my order they just sent me some shit in a box in hopes that would quiet me up. " This, is doing just that, ie, implying we had no intention of finishing this.. Let me tell you something, ask yourself why Dave and I spent at least a combined 40 hours of time on this (a couple grand, EASY), BOUGHT an engine ($600), spent at least $200 on prototype brackets, spent $400 on custom finishing, another $400 on a new bracket, power steering pump, and pulley, and lord only knows what else.. And we did this all because and again I quote "DC Power had no intention in full filling my order", Yup, sounds entirely plausible to me.. We did it just for the lulz... I also said somewhere in this mess that I could make them 18v, but they had to come back for us to do it, and at that point in all honesty I'm tired of being bloodlet by this. It's just easiest/best to give you your money back as no matter what, your NEVER going to be happy with them even when we got everything done.. We've lost SO much money on this fiasco, it makes me sick... You have the labels we overnighted to you, do us all a favor and send the stuff back so I can send you your money and we can all move on?? I mean seriously, do you honestly not think we would refund you after all of this??
  15. Randy, We have HAAS over working on our mill trying to get production up right now because of a mill crash that keeps on breaking all of our tooling. Since I don't have access to the checkbook I can't write you a check. Between our internet being out for the past two days, our phones being connected to the internet and our mill down, it's been one hell of a new week. I'll keep you posted.
  16. Through the day I work at my family's restaurant, and in the evening I detail cars. I also started a towing company with my brother and sister. Me and my sister fronted the money to buy the rollbacks, and wreckers and fence in the tow yard, and get the company on the county, and state call list and my brother, and nephew actually run it and do the hands on day to day work. And my grandpa started the restaurant over 40 years ago and he recently passed away, so I stepped in to give them a hand and still take care of my business with some hired help. It's a money maker man always has been. We feed probably a 1/8th of the towns population almost everyday. Many, many corporations have set up shop, and tried to take a cut and we have been under selling and forcing them out for decades. Our secret is we are almost all family, so we keep what we make except running cost of course, so we can sell cheaper and offer delivery where no one else can afford to do that. My granny is a multi millionaire in her 70's but comes to work everyday, and earns her part. And the 4 or 5 non family members we do hire we pay them cash and they draw assistance so we only pay them $5-$6 a hour as self contractors. And my sister is a occupational therapist and she owns a company called southern heritage rehabilitation. She pays her people really well some of her nurses make $50 an hour. But she does some serious driving to seeing all her patients. But a lot of times we get cars we have towed in that no one pays out so we fix them and finish running in the ground. About a month ago we lucked up and got a 07' mustang convertible that had the rear end go out and after the garage fixed it the people couldn't pay it out and the finance company wouldn't pay the storage so we got it for the cost of the repair bill. $450. My sister is using it for a home health car right now. Some we put in the yard Or scrap to get our money. Oh and I also raise English bulldogs I deliver them all over the eastern sea board. And all this is why I don't have time for building boxes or competing like I used to, I wish I could, and I'm sure I will retire soon and begin again.

Uh, so why has the Evil 12" been up for sale, with a 21+ business day ship date for months, then a week or so ago we see a post "evil 12 finally coming soon" and in this thread it was said there was still some things to work out? That's what led me to assume they where pre-order, that and someone else said "setting here about to preorder and this pops up" in reference to the evil post, and no one corrected him. And I'm not trying to slander anyone, just sharing my observations, like with Fi. I even said I didn't try and call they may have picked right up. But I assure you in November and December nobody was answering email's. And also the guys who said they waited 6 months had ordered sundown subs from SSA, not SSA subs guess I should have specified that. They said they where told the parts where being held up in port. So can you see how someone not knowing the guys personally would believe this all adds up to Pre-order. Actually know for a fact a few places are doing just that one is EMF but at least he tells you up front "no ship date just give me your money and I will get it to you as soon as it's built, if it can be built." Just seemed like the same deal to me maybe I misunderstood or read it wrong.
