So I’m getting pretty sick of free handing all my boxes, jigsawing and using screws, my question is what size table saw does a guy need to do basic boxes; like max 24” cuts. Also, what kind of nailer and gauge nails do I use to replace screws? bonus tip* routers? Which one is a good buy to do cutouts and round overs? Thanks ALOT!

    Me too.
  5. Funny you mention that as I have 3 in the works. A Jag V12, 4V modular Ford, and Audi 4.2.
  6. Caught it first try. It did, however, take two hours to fish it through the plug hole. I guess it's time to build a couple of the engines I have lying around. The rate things are going with my vehicles, I should probably have something on hand ready to plop in.
  7. BTW. This ain't too bad to watch if you want to feel not shitty for a moment.
  8. Lol! Tried that first. I just call it the grabber thingy.
  9. Roofers dropped off their stuff last Thursday/Friday and set up to redo my roof this week. Saturday, order of no new construction to start unless essential came into effect from government for us. Roofers showed up and got at it yesterday. Just after lunch a local PD officer dropped by... One of my Wonderful neighbors decided to phone in a violation complaint... Thank God the police understood the fact that the roofers patched the worst spots months ago and are just finishing the job as such making it a continuation of work started. And he deemed it essential as to leave my roof bare plywood would destroy my house in the upcoming rain later this week.
  10. They gonna remove them like in men in black?
  11. Spent the day stripping this turd. I'm beat.
  12. A little more whitled in. All the specialty wood pieces installed to sculpt to the seat bottom, and pieces to support the inner edges of the side panels. Decided it should have drink holders like the other. THen ready for a second coat of paint. Thats where I'm at this morning.
  13. I started on a second Mustang couch this week. Worked out the quirks I don't like about the first one. Got the seat a little more raked out for us taller peeps too. THe initial framework assembled... Seat and side panels installed! This one's getting a little something extra. Using these trim off of a 50's Ranchero bed top to cap the edge. Corner shot.
