Very sorry for your loss Trevor, those things are allways hard on a family. My best wishes. Not much to say here. You are under the impression that this is for competition? That would be the only reason for tuning to one's internal frequency, to achieve the best possible numbers. Have you ever heard of people just tuning low and building for sheer street beat? That is obviously what is happening in this build. If you like purely spl, thats great, but not all who build stereo's of this size are going for a one note wonder. (they like music) Try and respect others opinions, and not pretend everyone has the same interests as you. Have a nice day

basically the weight of this current set up is killing my mileage, killing my rear suspension, and killing my rear-alignment. Just sick of all the weight, it was a brand new car lol. Also, If we can demonstrate how loud 2 12's are, people will imagine the 18's being that much better. Good DEMO purpose all around.

I'm telling you man, those little things are amazing. I was about to buy some B&W 603 S3's but I am VERY glad that I made these instead. If you want crossover info let me know, it did change a bit from what is pictured. For normal music listening they really do not need a subwoofer. It's not a "cheap" build, I think it was in the low $500s, but damn was it worth every penny. A lot of people say that dome midranges provide sloppy imaging and soundstage. I'm not getting that at all with these. I had these sitting on my floor last night listening to them while I worked on my laptop and it was imaging like crazy. The mids and tweets were revealing all kinds of subtle details that I had not heard in my reference cd's before, and what was most surprising about that was the fact that they were not even being powered by one of my better amps. I am running a junk Audiosource Amp 3 to them at the moment. They also have no problem taking a lot of power. If you want a great mid sized monitor this might be for you. Man, now I want some of these, they sound like they sound great.

Just wanted to let everyone know what is going on over at classifiedzz.com. I have decided to take a different approach to things with the forum. Taking on a new ADMIN, some of you know him. Our very own Duran will now be in charge of the day-to-day over there. We are building a much more relaxed environment over there, not many rules, just mostly a nice hang out for users to post up their f/s threads and hang out and shoot the $hit!
