  2. this is what I heard also...
  3. Personally I would go for the final ohm load of 1.33 ohms.
  4. Thanks for the suggestions I went ahead and ordered the XCON's , no sense in having to work my way up ,better to start at the top.Thought I would add ,this is a great forum and I can appreciate the wisdom of the other members here. Thanks for the kind words and for your business!
  5. I would suggest 3.75ft^3 tuned @ 31hz. You will be more then happy with your results.
  6. updated rides page...
  7. haha, thought you might like your own page. I'll have to pay you a visit in May when i'm in CT. Looking forward to seeing the truck done.
  8. I know how you feel. I took 5 yrs off once and was just wow'ed on how much I had to catch up on. Welcome to the site. Yeah, it's crazy, last time I was really into car audio there were just a handful of small companies, now the market is dominated by small companies, which I think is great. I'm a big fan of small business. I just can't believe how loud and how much power daily drivers are seeing now, it's unreal. I was hitting mid 140's back in the day and I thought I was king shit, haha I'm excited to start wasting money on a new stereo. haha, thats great. Also, back then they didn't use a TermLab for a meter, so score then were much higher then today's score. Like 4-7db higher! So in today's standards you might have been in the high 130's!

  10. Rides page was finally added Sound Solutions Audio - Rob Clay's Explorer XCONs TeamSSA page too... Team SSA - Rob Clay's Explorer XCONs *and yes, i'm still adding the info to the pages...
  11. comparison of the two sites...
  12. Just updated the team site to mirror the SSA homepage. You can now browse between the two and have seemless browsing. You will deff know what site you're on. Just click the product links from the team page and vice versa to see what i'm talking about. http://www.teamssaudio.com/ here's some screen shots...
  13. you made the rides pages Sound Solutions Audio - Steveman09's XCON p.s. , sorry about your mirror
  14. Very excited for you. I think you'll have even better quality work after a while. Now get to work on my box
  15. screen shot of both pages..... of course the team page was designed to be seemless with the ssa page, so when you click between the two the only thing that changes is the domain name the color scheme.
  16. Team Page Team SSA - Chris' Aviator Wall Build 4 XCON 18s
  17. My budget would allow me to purchase the xcons,I just want to have a smile on my face when it is installed. you'll have more then that. lols
  18. agreed. XCONs if price isn't an issue. Both will work great, with the added thermal ability the XCON is a better choice.
  19. I agree. The product pages are much smoother then before, and rides pages are also improved (gallery placement) and everything is just easier to read now. Its that type of webpage that assures me the seller has put forth the time and effort into their products as well. Only problem is I need one more car. Fi for the truck, Sundown for the geo, and SSA for the ??? Xcons of course. haha, great! I'm about to build TeamSSA a new page. Same as SSA's, only diff color scheme etc...
  20. rides page added... Sound Solutions Audio - Chris' Aviator Wall Build 4 XCON 18s
  21. I love that picture , i'll have to get you up on the rides pages soon...
