Where to start, we are doing a wall in this van for promotional use @ shows and events. System will consist of the following. (6) SSA ICON 15D2s (3) JBL GTO 1200II (temp. until power upgrade) Box Deminsions Volume: 12.9ft^3 before displacement per box (two seperate boxes) Port Area: 180in^2 port are (360in^2 in total) Tuned @ 35hz On to the pics of the build so far, we're pulling an all nighter tonight so hopefully we'll have it playing by sun-up.

finally....I cut the holes! this thing looks sexy. IMO anyways.

I'm working on getting some pics of the truck. This will make for one great rides page though.

Started a new box today. For a new customer. 1995 Tahoe, very clean truck, i'll get pics of the truck when I get a chance. Box stats are as follows: Volume: 7.2 ft^3 Port Area: 111in^2 Tune: 32.4hz Subs: (2) SSA ICON 15D2s I'll get some pics of the truck tomorrow.

I would prefer option two as long as they where strapped.

Viper 5900 pager/remote start/alarm w/1 mile range and two Pager remotes. Dual shock zones, Dual motion zones. Loving it.

ok, updates are in. Got a brace between the woofers mounted in today, after the double baffle goes on should be plenty sturdy enough. Tomorrow, i'll put on the baffle and cut out the holes, paint the port etc...anyways, on to the pics.

Johnecon and I tested one in 9.2ft^3 w/139in^2 of port and sounded amazing. They are pretty flexible IMO of box size. Boils down to what type of sound your wanting?

The open box 15" we have for sale has been sold and pending payment. I can get you a brand new if you'd like. PM me and i'll shave a little off the price of it for you since you where intending on buying a the openbox sub.

I'll be putting some time in on this build during the week I think, about to finish up the box etc...I'll also take some vids of before/after with the deadening just to show what a dramatic difference it made

I still think two ICON 15's and two 1000d's strapped would be the perfect set up. Sounds like thats what your going for right? You won't be able to build a box for 12's then just cut bigger holes, the specs I had in mind for you was a 7.5ft^3 box tuned @ 33hz, that should do the trick very nicely for you. On a side note, I just got in one 15" D2 ICON (blue dustcap) open box, brand new never seen power. First $229 shipped takes it!

it is, but he's more SQ kind of guy. I'm just skeptical whether 2 12" ICONs can get really loud. All the impressive videos I've seen have been 3-4+ 12" ICONs. I know 2 15's can get crazy loud, so I guess I'm asking which to get If I'm going to take the back seat out and make the truck 'impractical' I might as well go big or not do it... -John 2 12" ICONs can get loud, trust me, i've "quality tested" them in a variety of boxes. Just make sure you have a box thats fits the correct specs and give them a good amount of port area to work with and you can't go wrong. From the sounds of it though, 15's might be more what you looking for. Put them in a 7-8ft^3 box with 100in^2 of port and 1500d (sundown, kicker, RF, etc..) that equation should get you more then what your looking for.
