Hell Yea im going to do a Singel 18" Quad 1ohm coil w/ quad spiders I like Pap as they will build subs to the Specs i ask for its nice to work with someone that will work with me and not just offer me generic options... they know im hard on subs and they build em too last

im just trying to have something that resembles SQ during the week and on the weekend im an SPL Warrior, i switch boxxs for this... i have a deadicated Fart boxx and a 7cf box ported @ 36Hz for music as allways suggestions are welcome

thats kind of what i was hoping for info on, can i rub the PPi 300.4 with the active Alpine 9887 - using the front ch for the tweeters and the rear ch for the mids / using 3 sets of crossovers ? where should i mount the 5.25" mids ? i have the 6.5" mids in the stock locations w/ tweets shown in pics where should the smaller mids go ? do you have any pics of a setup likt that or any diagrams ? im @ least trying to SQ a lil i think im getting old...

im going to asap... how do i configure a set of 3way comps ??? do you suggest any special way of wiring the different mids ?

i went to lunch today and got a chance to really listen to them and the SQ is really Great. and i did crank em up too see if there was any differance and the more power i put to them the better they did... really a solid set of Comps...

so far Clean & Clear as far as loud ill have to wait till i get my new SAZ 3000d amp to compair them with the sub playing... but was noticable clearer in the Mids & Highs as apposed to the Mb Quart mids & highs were straining to keep up. but remember the Pap has a 6.5mid and the Mb Quart has a 5.25 mid overall i am enjoying the clean sound reproduction from the Pap comps. as for 3 way i have the crossovers nessarry to do this now. am reading on how to go Active with the 9887

in my 2000 Ford Explorer i have 2 Magic #'s 36Hz / & 54Hz but the exception is when its HOT out side my # dropps too 52Hz ???!!!??? i do not know why this Happens ?

ok ill try this ! as an example... if i measure from the placed sub/cone ---> to where the mic go's ( in the passenger Kick ) and i get 84" - translate that into FEET 7' - take 7x4 ( 4 / quarter wave ) gives me 28 so i take 28 & devide that into the speed of sound ( 1131 ) equals = 40.39Hz _________________________________________________________________ if i take that same 7x2=14 divided into the speed of sound ( 1131 ) = 80.78Hz so with this theory if you want to tune lower go for the 1/8th wave 7x8=56 divide 56 into 1131 = 20.19Hz for a Sq Monster... if im doing this wrong someone ( cough*M5///*cough) please feel free to step in and correct me
