as well for me iv never had a problem with MTX amps we found the problem his positive cable @ the distro block was loose and Arching so the amp went into protection... we got it to reset... its fine now... just happened to hapen wile you posted this thread... i do not have a problem with the amp save it cost too much... i can buy amps just as powerful with a lot less money. (Cough* Sundown Cough*) but if you like Mtx i love it

does anyone have a full set of dimensions for the 15" box ? how wide is the port ? length ? etc etc etc ??? i need a good Sq box

thanks guys im adding sound deadener to the outer & inner door panels but i find the plastic door covers seem to make noise as well. i need to get new clips that hold the door panel in place as once you pull em there trash and donot hold the door cover tight anymore... had to get a second set of crossovers so i can run an active setup... im going to need a lot more sound deadener...

i blended the sub down to fit in with the front stage and all i can hear is Loose Plastic panels Rattelling... s0o0o0o0o i have spent the last 2 nights re-doing the front doors & the thinggy in the headliner of the explorer... now all the Rattelling is behind me... Dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm it...

i ran the SAZ 1500d with a stock charging system and 2x Batcap 800 and did a 153.4db pushing these 2 ss t4 15" subs youll be just fine... just a a good battery neer the amp

did i forget to mention that my 2 lil Sondown SAZ 1500d's are kickin his @ss i do a 152db dailly boxx is ported to 36Hz and i do a 154.6 with the spl boxx ported to 54Hz... subs are 2x 2yrs old Soundstream T4 15"

link please... if its like the 1 my co-worker has it is a solid amp, his is an Elite series and has the same or simular specs as you posted... he is pushing 2x Mtx 9500 15" subs ... doing 150.5 @ 45Hz boxx is ported to 35Hz... i personally think its overpriced... i could buy 4 amps for what he paid for that 1

the amps were an even match power draw wise and power out put wise only difference I saw was you can not run an RF amp under 1ohm... and the RF amps started to falter after repeated use... hence NOT an amp i would want in a Competition... RF Sucks.... the failure rate is off the chart in the audio shop i help out @ in Garland Tx... they dropped RF amps because they cant last a week without popping & Hissssing and now that i think about it there subs don't move me either

nope so i can jump the stater wire from 1 alt to the other & run the positives on 2nd alt to the positive terminal on the battery ?

do you need a special wiring harness to add a 2nd alt ???

never saw the amps as the customer brings the subs in claiming there making noise : allready out of boxx all there looking for is a swapp / warranty issue... im VERY SURE you are correct as these guys seem to think the more distorted it is the louder it is ? im sure if i looked the bass boost and everything else is wide open... but the fact remains that i have seen 6 different sets of Kicker subs Break in the same location suggesting a weekness in the design...

Did any of them have their subsonics set right? Either way Fi > Kicker Unknown sorry i only saw the end result of overpowering the subs...
