im not an SQ guy but i have noticed that i do not need the Kove Audio Aphex Ax1 signal processor to have the bass line as deep & punchy as i require for the pleasure of making everyone for 3 blocks make the poopoo face as they drive by in deadlock traffic on the interstate... had a guy SMOKING A CIGGARETT acting an ass cuss i was drowning out his cell phone conversation on the Highway... i told him if he would put out the CIGGARETT id turn off the music, he rolled up his window and started blowing his lil horn cant we all just get along ??? Gain just about 1/2 bass boost off sub out on Hu 3 using whatever curves the 9887 i have figured out how to use so far

for what its worth i had the 9883 for a week and upgraded to the 9887 and love the control i have... still learning how to ues it...

does anyone have a diagram of how to connect 4 - 8v batterys to show a 16v load ?

a friend of mine was using 2 of these in a VW Jetta on 2x 15" RE Sx and was doing 152.0db on the TermLab mic... soild amp for burping.... as his never burnt up he just got out of SPL & is now doing SQ... hope this helps

iv allways wanted a gun... i have shot a few of my friends guns the gun i liked was a 9mm cobret w/6" screw on extended barell. & it had a 36 round clip with a hellfire trigger the thing spitttt fireeeeeeeeeeeeee like in the Terminator movie...

my definition of SQ is less elitist: "sound the way you want" which, while deceptively simple, is not. I seperate "hi-fi" from "sq". "hi-fi" is an objective goal of making things sound just as they were supposed to. but the end goal is my happiness, so what if I want things to sound different from the recording. Maybe if there was a bit extra warmth, or sparkle, or more depth, I would be happier. That is SQ to me -- acheiving a quality of sound that you enjoy. I only differentiate SQ from SPL/Street with the added constraint that SQ users are not specifically looking for maximum SPL. (SPL user are, and Street users attempt to maximize SPL, but retain some amount of SQ) as for the list, none of that matters in a rickety honda with fart can exaust. gotta have some environment suitable for audio as well. Ya what he said !!! i think

i have 4 - 15" of Bigg Plans, and gonna get bigger SD amps somehow if i can swing it into the budget... also going to try out the single sub Maxx thinggy, getting a killer sub custom built...
