putting a largre fuse will increse the chance of that wire melting alltogether and catching fire... if the fuse does not pop... i suggest you get 0Ga wire ASAP. or @ least keep a fire extinguisher in the car. it's ok if you wanna iggnorr me

you beat me to it !!! i see this all the time @ the car audio shop you have more amp that the wire your using can handel / wire gets hot Fuse will & Should Pop... if it does not your going to have a FIRE on your hands... look @ the wire neer the fuse holder it will have turned a Dark/black where it use to be a pretty copper

John Carr of Team Audio Pipe, had 1 in his Punisher Van. it was a Tower he took apart and mounted it to a foam cushin off a couch... got a Mini board with a glide pad mouse, and Bammmmm 1 carputer he was running an inverter to a power supply for the setup. mounted a big flat screen in the dash ill find pics of the puter later

i vote 1 18" in a H@lla Bigg boxx ported so low it crumbles the morter between bricks... then put a LOT of power on it to get it moving... 4x 18" subs in a car that small will not work as minimum cf for a ported box is 6cf per sub x4 = 24cf in a Vw not going to happen sorry... i have an Explorer and the biggest i could get was 15.75cf w/ 4x 15" subs and still sound Great

the only PR setup iv seen was the Boston 2x 10" with 2x 10"PR had weights you can add or subtract to change freq: it was in a SMALL SEALED enclosure, sounded Great but for me it was lacking in the BooM department not that its a bad thing ! just was what it was an SQ setup
