Havent got my amp in yet, but my buddy with a kicker kx1200.1 came over, so i took the chance and talked him into putting the FI q in there to hear it for the first time. My box, b4 speaker displacement, is 2.5cu/ft tuned to 32.2hz. I do have the BP power option also I was thoroughly impressed with both the sound quality and the output of the Q. I kept reading everybody state that if you want "loud" to go with the BL, but i dont see this really being a factor with the Q. I understand teh BL is more directed for spl than SQ like the Q, but i was very impressed at the output of the Q, and did not expect it to be that loud. My buddy who owns the car said the Q was louder than his 3 infinity perfect 12's in a sealed enclosure, without changing any settings on the system I would recommend this sub to anybody who has thought about buying it. Just makes me wonder how much louder the BL and BTL actually are in comparison, because how many people downplay the Q in regards to output. will def purchase more FI products

Just built my enclosure for my 12 that is going to arrive on tuesday. Vented box is 2.48 cu ft tuned to 32.2hz question is which side of the face should i place the sub in? furthest from the vent possible, in the middle, near the vent? I havent cut out the hole yet, so i figured ide ask while i have time also, how much volume will the sub consume so that i know exactly how much cu/ft i am working with? little interested to hear the sub, every thread i keep reading tells people to buy the BL if you want any kind of spl. Im not going for spl at all, i just enjoy loud low bass with no intention to compete. Beginning to think maybe i should have opted for the BL instead... oh, and i got the BP power option also if it matters

what would these drivers compare to that is being sold currently, as in another 10 on the market today? having trouble finding info on them. just ordered a FI q earlier this week, but these seem like good deal for the DD

if i decide to ship mine in for trade value b4 the 31st, would i still get the sale price on the saz1500? i saw that the sale ended the 31st and just wanted to make sure b4 making a decision
