yeah haha it has been a ton of work. i say it's a b- effort though. but thanks for the encouragement haha yeah it gets old stealing my buddy's d5k every time i wanna take pictures. but if i sell the car i can buy a poopra or a fc rx-7 AND a badass camera.. so decisions decisions..

youll have a problem getting the paint to stick on the chrome. people tried to warn me, but i thought i knew better. scuffed it up real good, painted it, and it looked real good for about a month. now its got so many chips ive gotta figure out what im gonna do next. probably gonna take a flap disc on a grinder and take the bumper down to raw metal and try again. that would be a terrible idea. scuff it and paint it. paint sticks to everything.. it's gonna get chipped regardless what you do but if you do manage to strip the chrome off it will take more work to get the imperfections out and get it prepped correctly than it would be to strip the paint and repaint it. if you prep it correctly the first time it will stick. shit it would be better to make an acid bath to take the chrome off if that's what you really want. pictures sir.. pictures.

well.. i get bored with projects. this thing has been around longer than damn near everything i own and i want a change. i want something that is low and slow or something rwd turboed and piss ass fast. and i've taken it for a few drives. it doesn't impress. sounds good when you tromp it but it isn't that fast and it just doesn't do what my buddy's supra can do with the same amount of cash thrown at it.

eh.. yeah you can use vht but it doesn't really have the right sheen for headlights. that stuff is more for turn signals and tail lights. and it won't last as long as window tint. never have been a fan of any of those rails but if they serve a purpose like keeping the kids from trashing that beautiful yukon then you gotta do what you gotta do.. here's my thought. but like i said, i am no photoshop master oh and once i find this badass sticker i lost somewhere in the house i will snappy a picky and post it. i'm sure you'll like it

hell yeah. looks great. buy some tint and lay it on those headlights. fix that problem real nice like. once you get that front bumper painted it will look even better. gonna lose those, ahem, rock rails?

I have been price shopping someone to paint the front bumper white, but I may have a lead on a white Denali bumper cover. If it comes through, that will be the ticket IMO. People want crazy $ to paint mine. you'd be surprised at how much it is to paint something nowadays. nowadays ha listen to me.. sounding all grown. it is fuckin expensive though any progress?
