kicker subwoofers?
yeah i have heard the kicker L7's from 10''s in a sealed box up to the 15 in a vented box. The L7 is not bad it has alot of lows but the mids are kinda missing I own the round version of the L7 called the Cvx it gets low and plays mids well but they are to main stream and ppl say they sound like crap but if your looking for deep bass they are not bad at all. I own a Kicker Cvx 15 and a kicker zx1000.1 CVX > L7 I rock two CVX "12s in a single cab F150 and they shake the seats Just need a bigger amp i like the kicker's Sure they are main stream but nice

hifonics 1600 2,000
What the hell are you talking about, every site that I look up an Hifonics amp is says it does the 2000 x 1 @ 1ohm for the Brutus 2010: Hifonics Amp Yeah man stop making this so hard, just find an amp that does what you want it do at 2 ohms and fits into your budget. If your stuck on Hifonics amps then check out the BXI-2010 or 2610, those will fit your needs. You need to do your Big 3 Wiring if you havent done so and get you a secondary battery for you amp. ARG sorry... but at this link http://vminnovations.com/product_1272/HIFONICS_BRUTUS_BXi2010D_2000W_Mono_Amplifier.html they rate the amp at those ratings.. Yes i will do my big 3 upgrade here in the spring I dont see a real reason to do so yet As winter is coming and i wont be bumping when their is ice on my Truck. Sorry for making it diffacult Im just trying to figure it out so I know exactly what i am doing so i can do it right the 2nd time and not Shoot for a 3rd. call or email the company about the ad. They will let you know for sure. Don't be afraid of this company because of one misprint. I have bought from them many times from cell phones to amps. ap1500d. I did however, buy through their ebay store but it would be stupid to have weaker customer service on their main site. With you needing a 2 ohm load, it may be better to look at some kicker or rockford amps on ebay or something because most of them will output max RMS power at 2 ohms instead of 1 ohm, if 2 ohms is what you need. I skipped through some posts .

http://vminnovations.com/product_1272/HIFONICS_BRUTUS_BXi2010D_2000W_Mono_Amplifier.html is probly the one ill get. Im not sure when she will buy it i know i had asked here to get me one. Aswell as i pointed her to the Hifonics. I told her i wanted the Brutus Class D mono amp 2,000 watt. My budgest is around 250-300 i am asumeing. I would like to think she is going to try and get me a few other things aswell for xmas unlike her i plan on getting her a SLR CANON Digital camera I doubt she has a clue to what ill be droping on her this Xmas like usual. But hey she dosent make as much as i do. ya i am tired of this kicker amp i will probly Craigslist it for some cash to get some component speakers. I purchested it off Clist for like 140 bucks. Has no scratches on it and is in perfect working order.

x2, Hifonics is a good budget amp just known to fail on you if you get a bad one and they dont have the best customer service. You will not regret getting a 1600 watt amp over a 2000 watt amp (the difference wont be noticeable), plus cvx's dont need 1000rms hence there 750 rms rating. You can look at a 2000watt amp just make sure you set your gains correctly (with DMM) and watch how you use the volume knob. An amp on sale that will push them nicely is a Sundown SAE-1200v2: oh, I thought the hifonics was a good manufacture... i just need something thats better then this zx 750.1 kicker amp. my girl said she would get me a amp for xmas so im trying to figure it out intime.

hifonics 1600 2,000
ok so im running two CVX 12" @ 2ohm currently running them on a Kicker ZX 750.1 amp I know i am underpowering these subs. I am hopeing to get a 1,600 or a 2,000 watt hifonics amp Now my Question is are the hifonics amp's really good ? i hear good things about them and will a 1600 watt push the two VCX's really well or would it be best to have the 2,000 watt amp. Would i regret getting the 1600. i like my current kicker amp But it pretty simple amp and most def not strong enough

Buzzing Vibration KICKER SUBS
ok... so how should i have my amp set ? Head Unit Settings Bass Boost/Exend = Off Loud/Loundness = Off Sub Level: + whatever yours goes up to minus a few whatever your preference Bass = 0 or lower, whatever your preference Amp Settings Gain = Set with DMM, no more than 50-60% if you dont have one. LPF = 100Hz or lower whatever your preference Bass Boost = Off SSF = 1-5 Hz lower than box tuning, or until subs start to reach its excursion level. how do i know what my box is tuned to ? i have gain set to about 60% is it bad to go higher ? seeing im running a zx750.1 to power two cvx's also is lpf= xcrossover on the amp ? SSF ? i dont have this on my amp. Head Unit Settings Bass Boost/Exend = Off CHECK Loud/Loundness = Off CHECK Sub Level: + whatever yours goes up to minus a few whatever your preference +5 tp +7 out of 15 Bass = 0 or lower, whatever your preference CHECK

Buzzing Vibration KICKER SUBS
height x width x depth Height is 12 inches Width is 4 feet. Depth is 12 inches at the bottem and it is slanted to a 6 inch depth at the top. and yes it is sealed. It's also sealed in the center of the box to make two seperate compartment's. one for each sub

Buzzing Vibration KICKER SUBS
No its not a prefabed box It's one me and my cousin made. In the manual the CVX's declair a 1ftx1ft box for minimum sealed encloser. I would asume 2 feet x 12inches at the bootem angled up to 6 inches at the top would = a 1ftx1ft box. I have a small area to work with due to my subs being in a single cab F150.

Buzzing Vibration KICKER SUBS
Hello Now I have two kicker CVX's In a 4 ft box that is 1 foot at the bottom and 6 inches across at he top and is one foot tall. Now how do i find out what it is tuned at ? Also i keey hearing a Small Buzzing like vibration comming from the box. I Think it's the sub it self I just bought these subs and are new. This isnt the driver is it ? i mean i dont think it's coming from the capacitor or the amp that are screw down to the box. But it might be Or Do kicker subs just make this sound ? My CVR's did the same thing but it was the Driver side sub. Now the sound comes from the passanger side. I currently have my gain on my kicker 750.1 set so if you are looking at the sub the gain is dialed strait up to the top. The bass DB level is just pass pointing strait up IE North on the amp. The Xcrossover is at around 70-80 HZ and goes aslow as 50 on the dial. I belive i have my amp set peroperly. Sorry if i sound like a noob I am still pretty new at the car audio. To reclairify my box is 4 feet long by 12 inches deep at the bottom buy 6 inches deep at the top by 12 inches tall. Their is a devider in the middle of the box so each sub is in its own sealed compartment.
