  1. Welcome and WAR EAGLE!
  2. Haha ok then. Thats something I never woulda known . What is going to be used to power either of these?
  3. Going by the specs on the respected sites of the subs the BTL can handle 2000W RMS, the HDC3 can handle 1000w RMS so two audioques are going to take as much power as a single BTL (according to specs). Also the BTL has a slightly higher sensitivity so in that regard it would be louder with equal power. Really though I don't see a bad choice, each setup has cons and pros but they will both be loud in the correct box.
  4. Well correct me if I'm wrong, but the 18 will have more cone area than 2 12s and would therefore be louder since it can move more air.
  5. A lot of people from caraudiotalk.com. And not just subs but I've heard a lot of good things about amps and some guys have recently installed some SAZ-2000Ds in a few installs.
  6. You guys get a ton of recommendations for quality equipment and so I had to check it out.
  7. Hey guys I'm new here and found this site via many recommendations of SSA subs. I currently have a single eD 11Ov.2 being powered by an Alpine MRP-M500 in a 1965 Mustang. I learn more and more everyday that a 44 year old car is just not mean to handle a system (even a small one) and that is why I feel like I am constantly upgrading stuff lol
