Recently got one of the D2 from Jacob.. What is the preferred box size for sealed? What about box size for ported? aiming for 35-38 hz tune? What is the woofer displacement? What is the exact woofer hole size needed for perfect installation?

I have a feeling that the SAZ-1000d would have some trouble with running a pair of 10w7's. Perhaps even a SAZ-1500d might not be ideal... although I do not have any personal experience with the amps and their respective power ratings. Just on paper.. it looks like I would need to give the subs a total 1500 watts rms ( 750 watts each). How would I get that kind of power from the smaller SAZ-1000d amp at a 1.5 ohm load (parallel) by using two 3 ohm coils? Are the subs power requirements severely over-rated... and the amps output specs severely under-rated? Can this amp really give me the power the subs would need? Am I not understanding something here?

Okay.. I might be able to snag a pair of these 10w7 for a decent price. However, I am worried that because they are single 3 ohm coils, then I will not be able to run them efficiently on the Sundown amps. The 10w7 is rated at 750 watts rms each at 3 ohms. What are some amp and wiring configurations that would work for me? I'd like to give them their recommended power, but the JL website shows that the subs don't like to handle more than 750 watts continuous as it gets to the black line (warranty voided). Is this power rating from JL "over-rated" or "under-rated" for their subs? http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=5 I currently have 2 gauge power and grounds run in the car.. will your amp suggestions cause me to have to re-wire the car? This would also be another concern because hiding another run of cable or a larger cable will be quite difficult.
