Maan you gotta give us more details (go read the noobs post rules), what size sub and coil configuration, what amp? Im pretty sure any rockford amp can push that sub but its hard to answer if you dont give us any useful information. My bad. I got lucky, It's the older model and is 6.38mounting depth. Should give me just under a half inch of clearance .

One more question. Was just looking at the mounting depth of my box 6 3/4". My sub is 6.75. Is it alright to have the sub touch the back of the box?
