  1. Anyone running nitrogen in their tires? My mechanic put it in the Mustang tires when he mounted them. I had not driven the car before for comparison though.
  2. Speaking of tires. The drastic temperature change temperature reminded me to check my tire pressure. Good thing I did, the pressure was all over the place.
  3. Anybody use Spotify for tunes? If so what attracts you to it? I love to build playlists. Kinda reminds me of making mixed tapes. But am limited to what I own. Would be sweet to have a mobile app that let's you build playlists for free or cheap. I gather that's what Spotify does is why I ask. I use Pandora, Sirius and my personal collection currently. I also have pocket-tube app on my phone my daughter downloaded. The pocket tube sucks for downloaded play lists.
  4. Not bad at all. I don't know if I would pay 400 for it, but it is nice. I love the feel of a flat board, but painted frets. J I dig my BIL's 5 string bass. Being a lefty I learned to play up side down and backwards due to everyone's shit being right handed. I think If I started playing again it would be to learn the piano.
  5. I got the Jeep list shorter by a 3 items this weekend. Fixed rear lights (new sockets), fixed door jamb wiring and replaced the shifter PCB, which cause limp mode. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Some very annoying sounds remain, I'm hoping one of them is a bad shock. Sounds like you are ready for bilsteins 5100 replacement shocks. I will second the Bilsteins. I have used them on 3 vehicles now and have been overall happy with the performance.
  6. No Jeep Cherokee on the list?
  7. Get ready to be visited regularly by the ATF!
  8. Went and looked at the panel my friend has. Had him talked down to 3k. Would be sweet with an air-bagged mustang II front end, 4 link in the rear and atleast a 351 motor. Possibly a coyote. No back seat but could fit a pair of EVILS in there REAL easy!! Decided I have to many projects as is so passed for now. Was REALLY turned off by the fiberglass flip nose front end. Very flimsy and poor fitting. Sadly he paided 1500 for the fiberglass hood alone.
  9. I have that problem with the Town Car. Fancy and shiny are just not my thing. Would love to shed the moving mass of the factory rims though.
  10. It is so funny to me to see frets on a fretless They are inlaid flat, but ya I see what your saying. lol
  11. Posting here exclusively so I can see everything on the screen at once, plus its the hop so obtuse feedback is always requested.Amusingly those were all in the list from yesterday, but narrowing down the search and finding better pics makes a huge difference. Was referring to the ones with the funny Y shape in the spokes. They really took away from the brakes and just looks like shit. imo
  12. Finally got the deep shroud mounted and in! Has been a week of chasing belts, pulley, spacers, and leaks though.
  13. Homie I work with snagged the fretless 400 dollar Ibanez bass yesterday. Would be better if it was a 5 string.
  14. All I really want is a week of not wearing latex gloves all day. Bastards are fucking my hands up.
  15. And I really don't care where as long as its warm and humid.
  16. 97 degrees in Anaheim yesterday! Will be there in a week. I need a goddam vacation.
  17. DAMN, way cheaper than a Nexus 7. Very tempting!!
  18. Finding the correct pulleys can be maddening.
  19. I have been trolling for rims for the hooptie. They all just look so Guido to me though.
  20. The double spoke has a nice refined industrial look. Will compliment the brakes beautifully. I personally like the ones with black. Definitely better than the shit you posted yesterday.
  21. X2.. Honestly doesn't surprise me they would ban the powder alcohol in Colorado. A bi-product of legal weed has been the edibles market, which they are trying like hell to ban also. Oddly They don't care about smokable concentrates, just edible ones. I think the state tax paid at the counter in a rec shop is like 36%. OUCH.
  22. Your weather must be getting nice there too. I tried to drop into the car wash two days this week. Was a line of cars at all the washes. Ended up at home with the shop vac and pressure washer. FTW
  23. Are the Seymour Duncan's active pickups? Imagine that made a big difference. Love the blue color with the cross hatch pattern! The chrome doesn't suck either. Very sexy!!
  24. Happy birthday brother!! Has been a great experience knowing you. Hope its a good one!!!!!
  25. Mount a piece of mdf or ply-wood to the metal door around the factory mounting hole. Make the wood cover as much area as possible around the speaker hole and secure it to the metal door as solid as possible. Use as thick of material as will fit behind the panel. When installing the speaker, use butyl rope at the mating surface. This should give you a good solid baffle and mount. No need to build a pod unless you are trying to aim the driver, trying to add a small enclosure or building a pod for the kick panel.
