  1. Has been like a spring day here all week. We have only had 3 good storms this winter.
  2. The only other things I can think of if its not the amp, Is a standing wave in the box or the pvc port resonating. Couldn't hurt to throw a brace in the center of the box. A lattice style brace will help if you are getting a standing wave in the enclosure due to its odd shape. Possibly the pvc port needs braced if its resonating. So If it was me I would try a different amp with that box, AND try that sub in a different box with your current amp to narrow down the culprit.
  3. Welcome to SSA!
  4. Glad to hear it was something simple! Always love it when it works out like that. Maybe you could help out and give your opinion of the Soundqubed to another member thats interested in one. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/63247-i-need-help-choosing-my-subamp/page-5#entry1095984
  5. Why would that stop you? They have a back seat..That is not a backseat and my daughter will always need to be in some sort of child seat with support. Seriously that backseat is useless Don't blame you man..Safety first... Reminds me of my Prelude I had when the kid was little. Sucked with a car seat.
  6. Especially for the mechanic brands like Snap-On, Matco, etc. I can't imagine paying the prices new, I can buy multiple Vidmar or Lista cabinets for those prices. I will check these brands out. The Husky's at Home Depot are looking tempting. That or Harbor freight.Coupons that I got from Harbor Freight last week...">http:// ">http:// ">http:// ">http:// ">http:// The 5 drawer cart I have at my house. That one I do recommend. Pretty sturdy for a harbor freight cart. There is a black 5 drawer cart on CL for $100 about 5 min from me. Thought about grabbing that up as I want a cart too, and could see the build quality. I seen the sale on their website. the bottom and top are separate and around 700 total for a 40-42" split drawer. Not bad. The HD one is only 400 total. None the less HF is in the same town as HD, so will check them both out on my day off.
  7. Doesn't he have a few extra boxes in the garage? I swear he had about 4 double bay boxes. J He has about 10 or so Snap-on and Mac in his personal collection. I would guess around 100k worth just in the boxes. lol He isn't parting with any of them though. Hasn't turned a wrench in almost 20 years but won't get rid of a single tool, let alone a box. I was referring to his actual pawn shop though. Don't remember if we made it there when you were here. But after guns, tools are the other biggest thing he sells. So yes I will go see what he has. Could get lucky.
  8. I believe these are the other Synergy amps he was referring to. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/63219-wfo-251-release/ http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/63254-wfo-351-release/
  9. Im hoping the husky is decent enough for a homeowner. HD is about 80 miles away in Grand Junction so will have to check them out on my day off. My dad's pawn shop is the only local one, but lots I can check out in GJT. I wouldn't mind finding a used quality one, especially if its the same one Im going to the store for.

The Husky's at Home Depot are looking tempting. That or Harbor freight.A long time ago I had a stainless steel Kobalt box from Lowes. The biggest issues I ran into were the drawers are really flimsy. The other is the drawers don't hold much weight. The rollers will snap.I have similar concerns with HF's boxes. While cheap in price, they also seem twice as cheap in construction. If I was looking for a new box right now, I would be looking at the pawn shops honestly. I know here in FL just like in AZ they sell a 10k Snap-On box (retail) for about 2500-3000. Fucked up hing is if you know someone who works there you can get it for just a bit over half of that (1250-1500).J I debated checking pawnshops, but it's suppose to be my V-day gift from the W. Don't really want to spend more 600-700. Half that would be even better. The husky brand at HD is only 400 for a 42" wide with split drawers. The HF brand is almost double that.

  12. They have been making snow for months for the X-Games this weekend.
  13. The longer this pathetic winter carry's on, the less I feel bad about losing out on the RMK sled last spring.
  14. Fender reverb amp. http://www.ebay.com/itm/321646369766?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  15. Supplys to start sound deadening the Stang trunk arrived!! Hopefully can get it quieted down enough I dont have to seal off the truck. Would like to keep the sub enclosure removable.
  16. Man are tool cabinets expensive. Every time I look at them I remember why I don't have one.
  17. Starting to sound like an AA meeting in here. If you use/drink and know the consequences, than no one to blame but yourself. Take a long hard look at where you have been, where you are now and where you want to be in the future. Thats all Ill say as I could go on for hours as I have dealt with alot of ppl that drank/used them selfs to death. Believe me, thats what they wanted.
  18. Welcome to the greatest audio forum on earth!! What size subwoofer is this? Did you model the sub in winisd or a similar program? Do you know where the subsonic filter is set? What other processing are you using in the signal path to the sub? Did you have the last port and sub orientated the same in the car? Did you change anything else other than the sub/box from the last setup? What island are you on?
  19. Both teams that kicked the Broncos ass in the last few Superbowls. Is the only time of year I am embarrassed to be from Colorado.
  20. Considering I just bought a Lee Jackson (more or less modified Marshall), about to buy a 2x12 cab with dual Vintage 30's, and possibly even grabbing a new guitar with EMG's or Seymour Duncans I am curious who you've added to the list. I'm jazzed for you! Can't wait to hear more about them. A ton of artists i didn't give a second thought to back in the day. The few bands I am sure i will catch the most shit for are Cinderella, Faster pussycat and LA guns. Others I have started to enjoy more with age are Great White, Deep Purple, Dio, Van Halen, Jackyl to name a few. My top bands back in the day were Quiet Riot, Twisted sister, Iron Maidian, Judist priest, Motley Crue, AC/DC, Krokus, Areosmith to name a few. Every Mothers Nightmare's first album is another. They do a good "long haired country boy" cover. Outside of Krokus and Every Mothers Nightmare I pretty much own the list. Thanks for throwing it up. Some reason it is all appealing to me a bit atm as well. I dont think I ever owned a Krokus album. Was on alot of compilation albums. Tesla and Ozzy are a few other timeless ones. I love me some Bark at the Moon and No Rest for the Wicked. Still cant stand Scorpions or Queensryche. Of course theres a list of those. Sounds like your looking for more obscure bands?

I remember having that one but dont remember the storyline. Was more into collecting for the nostalgia. lol Still have about 50 games, a few game genies, and a bunch of the NES Advantage controllers. You should check the band Jackyl out. Dude uses a chainsaw like a guitar.
  22. Got the timing and carb dialed alittle more on the Mustang. The W is stoked. She drove it to the grocery store today! Waiting on more parts!!!

  24. Flights to Europe are 2/3 or less the price I paid last time..... But that could be a bunch of things. Summer and you bought WAY too late. From what I see they are the same. Tickets to Hawaii are 1/4 cheaper in the spring, compared to the week before xmas like the last time i went. I assume the airlines are on a whole different paradigm with the gas company though.
  25. They can suck a big fat dick. We're finally hovering around $1.5 / liter. Hey, some people here complained that the new city buses are painted half-purple. Like I'd fucking care if a bus is purple or not... If you work in a fluctuating pay field, you have to accept when the bubble bursts. Most the ppl I know complaining are oil field workers that switched to the rigs when the trade they where in went belly up. It's not my fault they are uneducated and chasing the almighty dollar. Get a grip and move onto the next uneducated job that's paying un-proportionately currently. I like purple! I will be painting the Mustang metallic purple.
