A pic would help. From your description I would think you would want to remove the fuse block thats built into the factory terminal and install inline fuses. That would give you extra length and you can use your new terminals to clean up the install.

Can you not just install the 35 180%. Will put the posts on the correct sides. May need longer cables, but if your reworking the wiring anyways shouldn't be a problem. If ya look at the pic I posted of my setup you will see thats the way it worked out.

Ideally battery's from the same manufacturer will play nicest with each other due to being closest in design. Then again I may just be overly anal.

They are both lead acid batteries so you are good there. With a 220amp alt you should be good on power.

Last cam I bought her i was focused on video record transfer rate. IIRC its a Panasonic. I have a pile of camera's. I think 3 cybershots and then some.

It's coming good ! I made a big milestone last night, learning how to adjust the t/a and stage height. This is starting to become very fun for me. More tuning to come, but definately headed in the right direction. Wish you would of invited me to finals a little sooner. Is only 650 for a round trip ticket and rental car. I generally use this cam for photographing tattoos. I use a black backdrop but am under florescent lighting. What advice, lens, configuration, etc should i be using? Side note, am getting ready to buy the W a cam for action shots. any advice on a good body/lens combo for the wife? Something in the 1500-2500 range.
