  1. You will want a sealed battery if mounted inside the vehicle. Lead batteries give off toxic AND flammable fumes.
  2. Speaking of frequencies, I have a question in regards to "frequency water". Can water be made to hold a certain frequency? Or is it just a value denoted from the pH and mineral content? Is it the resonant frequency of the molecules?
  3. Hope ya have a killer B-day Bro!!
  4. I used this product in my car. Worked great to fill body voids to block road noise. Good for bracing too, IF in the right application.
  5. So is there any "rule of thumb" as to what can be used? Or just measure and go as big as possible? And as for the alt...I could get a larger one elsewhere for twice the price. In my research so far people seem to be able to get away with a 200 amp on that power without any issues (with big 3 and big battery or 2). 200 amp x 12 volt = 2400 watts. 200 amp x 14 volts = 2800 watts. Granted the alt doesn't make that at idle. The battery is for reserve to fill in at peak moments.
  6. The Doodle bug Model A is trick.
  7. go ahead and rub it in.
  8. The effective (acoustical) port length is given on the bottom. You are confusing the physical port length with the effective.
  9. You would get a MUCH better base from me. Less cute remote, better product. Matt, I had been looking at the Ergomotion 300, as thats what they had locally. What base would you recommend?
  10. The ergo was amazing. My hip had been in flareup mode for a week before bed shopping. Idk if it was the bending motion or the massage, but my hip popped back in. Was a good test of the beds that were hard to roll over in. May have to go test drive again though without my hip hurting so bad.
  11. Should have a "trying to forget" option...
  12. Test drove mattresses this week. Decided I liked the Sealy posturepedic hybrid eurotop. Was one of the only mattresses not on sale. REALLY fell in love with the Ergo-motion base. Haven't decided if I want to spend 3 times as much on the frame as the matress though.
  13. Should make for a stellar tuning experience with the mini's!
  14. The physical port length given in the Torres is the inner port wall length. The effective port length is half the port width longer. I would go with the wider port. The only thing I see in the sketch up I would worry about is the port ending so close to the corner. Could change the effective port length. From the box dimensions and psychical length in your link you should be good. I think the sketch just makes it look closer than it is.
  15. The caddy would have the lowest noise floor. Hard to squeeze an enclosure in the trunk though, would have to build in place to fit two 15"s. (Ask me how I know) The trailblazer would be the friendliest and should have a fairly low noise floor.
  16. IIRC Torres measures down the center. If the port uses a wall that continues past the port, the inner wall of the port should be phisically half the ports width shorter. So with a 4" wide port, measured down the center, will need the inner port wall 2" shorter than where the port ends. The speaker still see's the extra port volume, and that volume is part of the port volume. Not the net volume. This could cause the "miscalculation" you heard of. Has been awhile since I used the Torres, but was accurate for me.
  17. Sweet score Matt!!
  18. The M7 perhaps?!
  19. Going to see Ziggy Marley and FUN. on friday. Shall be interesting.
  20. Not bad for middle school.
  21. I blame the fuel injection on the Ford for the good mileage.
  22. My '72 International Harvester military bus with a 396ci did 6 mpg. Loaded or not.
  23. Mattress shopping as soon as the W gets back from her hike.
