  1. Like Christmas! More like Xmas eve!! Waiting on many more. Did you get the muffler installed?
  2. Possibly try to level things out with an eq to tame peaky frequencies. A good rule of thumb is cut the peaks, instead of trying to boost the lulls.
  3. Looking good brother!! Don't let the obsession eat you alive. Hehe
  4. Am leaning towards SS Crager 5 spoke rims with BFG T/A shoes. Not a fan of chrome but they are about the only rim I can find that I care for the look of on the ol' Mustang coupe's.
  5. Came home to lots of packages yesterday!! Most of the front suspension parts!!
  6. Ouch!! that's rough. Good to hear everyone lived.
  7. Did you try lifting like the vid? There's a reason it said fail.
  8. Might have to move up here and become a farmer.
  9. I got the spindles extracted yesterday!! They are the only part going back in the front end. A few carnage shots...
  10. Speaking of brakes, I ordered the disc kit for the front end!!! I am stuck deciding which route to go on the rear.
  11. I have had the same Verizon plan for like 12-13 years now. No real complaints. They usually give you a pretty good deal on smart phones when you sign up or upgrade. I really miss my bag phone from back in the day. That MF had some mad signal strength.
  12. Leaning towards the Kelsey-Hayes dual piston for the front, as that was stock on the Shelby's. The rear discs are still a coin toss. Leaning towards the single piston caliper with e-brake lever, or the drum e-brake in the inside of the disc hub. Anyone have an opinion on either setup?
  13. Ordered the front suspension for the Mustang this morning! Will pull the trigger on the disc brake kit on Monday, IF I can make up my mind. So many choices.
  14. That's my rush hour car.
  15. Some pics of the carnage and parts and install!! Started on the second one 2 hours ago and is back together!! Good thing as I need to be at work in 30. Left side^^^^ Right side^^^^ Parts is parts, pieces parts^^^^^ Left side!!!! Da' shackle And the right side I just finished!!!!! Now time to order more parts!!!!!
  16. Second leaf spring almost off! Torch made quick work of the most of the removal. Other than the front spring bolt I have the saw...
  17. Had planned on rubber throughout the car anyways. The rear springs came with a front rubber bushing pressed in. The rear shackles are poly as would have been impossible to press a bushing into the frame side otherwise. The coils I am ordering had the choice of poly or rubber so I guess I second guessed myself.
  18. Poly will be a little harsher, but you won't notice. Rubber will be fine for a street car and expect 10-15 years if maintained. Thanks Ryan! Rubber it is.
  19. Anyone have an opinion on coil spring insulators? Rubber VS polyurethane. I assume the rubber will wear out quicker, but what about ride quality?
  20. Almost done on the rear suspension on the 65 mustang! Now to order the front suspension and some disc brakes!
  21. How is the e-brake setup on Wilwoods? Is it the inner drum style on the rear hubs?
  22. I live on sugar...I would be pissed.
  23. Booking direct at hotels, I have always got an upgraded room for a standard price! Have gotten quite a few shitty rooms booking through travel sites.
  24. I get Valium for a muscle relaxer. Works great for sleep AND I don't feel lethargic when I wake up. My job requires extreme mental concentration, so that's important.
  25. High fat cooking Slow cook butter and herb in crockpot, strain with cheese cloth and presto!I expect the number of "recipes" utilizing the spice ought to increase significantly now that it is legalized.Would laugh my ass off seeing it on a menu. Pasta flavored ala Mary Jane.I wouldn't be suprized...the industries that have popped up already are absurd. I seen a hotel yesterday that was advertising it was marjiuana friendly. You know, for out of staters.
