Have you tested all sensors and coils to see if they are within spec? Sensors, coils and even ecm's can read appropriately and still be bad. In that case you have to simulate the problem and check the ohm values when it is defecting. Do you have a mechanic for advise or are you trying to do it all on your own? What year IQR is it?

The I-70 corridor between Gwood and Denver is one of the funnest drive's in the country. Several canyon's, not a single straight stretch the whole 200 miles. 6% and 7% grade's with non stop corners. I have done 150+ mph going down the passes before when I was shagging Audi's. Ask Jordan, riding with me is not for the faint of heart. He was ready to get out and walk after I drove him up a jeep trail in the Honda with a 1000+ foot drop off on one side.

Looks like the sled may be a done deal. As my cuz is a diesel mechanic, everything was on par with what you suggested as far as maintenance. Amsoil synthetic oil, non-ethanol mixed with 105 Avgas. yearly clutch, belt adjustment and power valve cleaning when it was being used. has sat for 2 years. The sled mechanic is a good friend of his and is going to hook it up to the computer for good measure. I am going to test ride it sooner than later and will go from there. We agreed on 3k with or without payments so thats flexable enough for me. He just needs 1500 for his boat motor and another 1500 for his lawyer. I only plan on riding a dozen or so times and flipping it at the right time of year. Then the next sled will be a rider forward one.
