Chevy 5.7L actually. I was stoked it fired so easy after sitting 10 years. Dad said he had it serviced right before parking. After the test run I am required to buy batteries and new tires for the trip to Lake Powell!!!

I am SUPER stoked about the boat. The old man still hasn't shot me a price, but at this point will let me use it a few times and go from there. Dad was a diesel mechanic for quite a few years. Thats just one corner of the garage, there is about 10 more boxes.lol If you couldn't tell, canary yellow is his favorite color.

Picture of said amp!! I still have a few of those left. They are for my F-250. I still need another 4 channel or two depending on size. I have a 125aII and 250aII. They have been in a box for 3 years, I know they would fetch something decent on ebay. Not sure if I want to hold on to them or not as I bid hard to get them and they are my favorite series of RF amps. But I have done nothing with them in ages and I am in a purge stage. Make sure the community here gets a shot at them before they go to ebay. Jared- I take it what I have sitting around for older RF amps doesn't do anything for your search? J You have a PM sir.

Welcome to the IHoP
I was burning a field yesterday and had everything working great. Then the neighbor without a permit decided to start his weeds bc we were burning. Needless to say the neighbor was not prepared and ended up calling 911. We kinda got a win win out of the deal bc the fire department put out the hot spots on the edges of our field.

I lost two 9887's on Ebay now, both by only 3 bucks. On another note I scored a 75.2 RF oldschool punch for tweeter duty, with end caps!!

The HT room is looking good Sean! I can't wait to get my house wired for sound. I am still trolling for a good 12 ch house amp. The Sonamp (mk1250) and a few Niles (4630, 8630) units are at the top of the list. Obviouly I have A ton of other shit to do to the house so this is low on the list.

I understand that exactly. And I will be looking for a car that is hell of a lot of fun to drive, but is also capable of being comfortable for long trips. If the best for my money ends up being a Honda Accord then that's what I would want to get. Honda Accords are NOT fun to drive, lol. Well considering I drive a 1995 Saturn. When my friend and I traded cars for a weekend (2005 Accord V6) I was quite happy Then you'd absolutely LOVE the new 3 series. You would love a Honda Accord Mike, the gas milage and reliability make it worth it alone. While not as fun as an Audi or Bimmer to drive, still a pretty zippy ride with decent handling.

I will be running the Polk Audio MMC690 MOMO 3-ways in my boat. I LOVE how these things wail in the midrange!! Larger Images Polk Audio MOMO MMC690 The Boat, circa 1991 at Powell.

Welcome to the IHoP
I don't have dado's....but have a router installed on my table saw so that is no problem. What I didn't follow was it sounded like a double rabbet was being recommended. I thought double rabbet also until the latest sketch up. I dont think he'll need any rabbets given the PVC's natural spring to roll in on itself once he cuts it. I dont think a rabbet joint is needed either. IF anything I would leave a tab in the middle of the PVC and do a mortise and tenon in the middle. Would lock together like Lego's! Love it, completely hadn't thought about doing that. I would think you could plunge cut in the middle and from the ends and leave two tabs. Something like this? Not to scale, but I wanted to translate your recommendation. The rear wall of the 10 would look like the front wall of the 8 so that would be rigid. The 8 would also have a face in the rear to attach to, but it'll be hidden. The 10 is then attached via the mortise & tenon and rear face. Obviously I'll add wood strips to hide the recesses but then the visualization wouldn't work Sounds steller Sean. I can't wait to see it built!

Welcome to the IHoP
I decided not to port my doors to avoid road noise but if you are MLVing the outer skin and bottom of the door you should be alright. What are you tuning them to? Proper deading will be done in the future. Thet will be tuned to 60Hz. Around 0.5 cub feet, plywood enclosures. If you are using an enclosure you will be golden. I would only worry about resonations or road noise until it shows its ugly face.
