Do you have a traction/sway bar installed? I missed it if you already said. As of yesterday I have bigger sway-bars than stock. Some came with, some came without a rear sway bar. Mine didn't have one. And I will probably build a traction bar after the ugly wheel hop in deep snow. If I ever get some fire under my ass the next thing besides a hydraulic clutch will be a beefy traction bar.

Reminds me of the Eric Clapton and Jimmy Ray Vaughn concert I went to many moons ago.

Joe Satriani is another great guitarist, like buckethead primarily just instrumentals. My Dr., who plays in a local band, told me to check out a band named Stork. He said they are the same technical style.

My trip to Vegas was good. Grandma is definetly getting old but still doing good and living on her own. The Cirque Du Soleil Ka show was amazing. Anni was ready to apply for a job in the show, and got cultured to the fact she could do something so cool for a living. I didn't spend a cent gambling so I think I came out ahead on that. I did some thrift store shopping and came out with 5 pairs of Luckys jeans for 45 bucks, so score there. I seen a Pantera Detomaso and a Delorean that was turned into the time machine. The Delorean had Minny plates. lol

So I thought I had popped another midbass after having the random smell of audio death for a few days, and was hearing scratching. So I pushed on both cones and they both sound fine. Fast forward two weeks and I haven't had any issues and can't reproduce the problem so I might be in the clear. I think the scratching is something resonating and don't know why I was getting the smell of death? All is working great now thankfully. I may pull the drivers out and inspect the coils and do test readings on them too.

I really need a driver with a little more thermal capability that can still reach high. I already have the 12" Auras a step down from these. Do you have any other recommendations for 12 midbasses that reach up to atleast 500hz and are rated atleast 400 watts rms with low distortion? Not sure you'll gain thermal with the 12 over the 10. And IMO $450 is too much.

What's it look like with the door panel on? Maybe you can build out instead of in for the depth you need.

I looked through your build, but couldn't find a pic of the mids mounted in the door. I really like how Alton built his door pods, would be easy to seal and also super rigid.
