  1. Meh, I'll sleep enough when I'm dead.
  2. No, the different size batterys will not effect each other. You are good to go.
  3. One thing you could try that would cost little to no money to get louder is adjust the port tuning higher. To between 40-45hz. That was the norm back in the day with prefabs and before internet. As a shop could sell a sub easier in one as it was audibly louder. It's only bc of the web that the average person would know any different, otherwise ignorance would still be bliss. Try it, you may be surprised what you hear.
  4. The SA is rated 500 so perfect match. That said, the F8L is the same sensitivity so would have the same SPL on that power. Just glancing at the spec's I would assume the FL8 will play lower/dig deeper . If your into that kind of thing.
  5. No it will not act like a cap or need isolated. But your listening style and alternator capability will influence how fast the batteries can recover.
  6. Haha. Well I actually have no clue who the governor is. Beyond that, I think it is a system of checks and balances driven by collective conscience. So I personally do not believe it matters who the puppet is.
  7. Thankfully not. Several people have died from rock slides in the area though. The last to die was a child, from a rock landing on the car. That was in the canyon I drive daily. When it’s pouring I drive as fast as possible.
  8. Welcome to SSA! I would go with the D4ohm SA-8, wired to a 2ohm load. Unless you planning on upgrading the amp down the road, then I'd get the X-8. Would only run the 6.5's if mounting space is an issue.
  9. Said fuck it and just worked all the way through my weekend.
  10. The rock slide from the rain the other day. The only way around that canyon is a 6 hour drive. The canyon only being 20 miles long.
  11. Poor puppy. Our little guy just go's on the deck when its to cold or deep.
  12. Had a partial made a few weeks ago, but hate wearing it. No cheeseburger smiles unless I have it in though.
  13. Not yet. Only have the post installed so far. That, a bunch of stitches and a jar of Vicodin.
  14. Dental implant went hella Smooth. Only took about 20 minutes. The clicking of the ratchet they used to seat the post was interesting. Worth every penny of the $1600 though!
  15. Is crazy. Sometimes it will be snowing loads on one side of a mountain and sun shining on the other.
  16. You can have it all buddy! The high country has some phenomenal powder to go boondocking, but I no have a sled. Might breakout the snowshoes though.
  17. Hopefully the cold spell back east has broken for y’all. Sounds like it was a severe one. We had a torrential down pour the day before yesterday. Caused a few mud slides over the interstate. The running joke in Colorado is we can have all four seasons in one day.
  18. Last nights snow fall.
  19. Off to have oral surgery this morning. This missing a front tooth bullshiz makes me look like a Billy BOb. Of course if I was up north everyone would just think I was a hockey player.
  20. That one's pretty seksy! Love the black.
  21. What he said. ^^ Beefier subs on double the power will have an audible difference.
  22. That’s no fun.
  23. Any HO 4x4 will easily get off the ground. It’s the landing that’s not so smooth. Any I have rode where just to front heavy. Land on the fronts and only the lord knows which way it will sail from there.
  24. Put In 55 hours this week. I must be a glutton for punishment because I am going on in on my Saturday tomorrow. Can’t complain as everyone is MC Hammer rich this time of year and just throwing Mad Money at me. Bring on the flesh!!!!!
  25. Probably the sportiest 4x4 I’ve rode was the Kawi’ 700 Prairie. The CVT tranny was nice. No jerky shifting. Felt just like riding a sled. jumped better than any others I’ve rode, but still didn’t land like a sport.
