tips to make build sound that much better?
Well to anwser your question, sealing of the trunk has a few advantages SQ wise. First the soundwaves won't get colored from the reflections in the trunk, and you will have a truer reproduction of the original sound. Secocondly, you are blocking trunk noise from entering the cabin. Now if by "squeeze every bit I can" means louder and not smoother and sweeter, then you maybe better firing into your trunk for the added DB boost you will gain from firing into a small area. When it comes to SPL its all about trial and error, each car will interact with the soundwaves differently.

Need Help Building A speaker box
No audible benifit to have them in the same enclosure vs seperate. You would need to get different specs for your enclosure though if you are planning on running them together. You usaully can't go wrong following the manufactors recomendations, as they know their product best.

Welcome to the IHoP
Speaking of trailer mishaps. I almost got my hang juiced between a snow groomer and a handy man jack. I was using the jack instead of the hydraulics on the groomer bc I was unhooking from a pickup instead of the Bombardier snow cat. Thank god I had thick insulated gloves on and a few friends near by.

I can't count how many trailer's I have hooked up, and haven't had it happen yet. She was balling her eye's out. Mostly out of fear of me being mad, but I laughed from the first second it happened and said we better get it hooked back up before the storm in the background hits. This photo is at around 10k ft.
