Heavy wok is bad. About the only hot cooking pan I'd ever say that about. Most important for wok'ing is a burner, not the pan. A $14 pan is fine, and even a $50 burner, although it will have > 100k btu's. Mind you these woks were 4', 6', even 8' in diameter, so yeah, they're going to be heavy I have a couple 18" one's, but goddamn.

Ribeye FTW. Although my W likes new yorks, but then again she likes it burnt and ruined. Women seem to like sweeter wetter wines, especially if they aren't a wine connoisseur. I recommend either a zinf or a merlot.

Bass restoration processors
I did get the PM about the sale. Thank you. I concidered ordering another 10 at that price, but plan on using the 10" I have now for a different application that only requires one. Its to bad you don't have better processing, I think alot of what you want to achieve is in the blending of what you have.

:domoslay: :rockwoot: :rocking: Seriously though, Why would you need the bass restored. If you want faithful sound reproduction, with EPIC bass, get a bigger sub, bigger box and cross it LOOOOOOW. Or get a more efficent sub. What's up J! I'm thinking about upgrading the sls's in the spring, it just so happens that the Aura sound NS-10's are on sale right now for $88.00. I'm considering snagging two of them now, but the 6" mounting depth is what's holding me back. I was pondering the epicenter, but I think it may complicate things. I'd like to have them on the sls's so it's coming from in front of me, but I want more output than they can deliver. I used to have my sub crossed around 80 hertz and the bass still isn't there. Those old recordings seen to be missing allot of low information. I honestly don't think more speakers is the answer, I certainly could be wrong. Do you have any old Judas Priest or Iron Maiden? I'm curious if your system would play it "correctly", as if it was recorded today. If you don't I'd be happy to rip a cd and send it to you so I could get your opinion on whether you think it sounds "correct". Let me know, Thanks. For earth moving bass like a concert without revealing its source is why I sugested the low xover point on the sub. The aura has the same cone area as your two 8's so I don't know if you'll gain much, but could be wrong. I'm not famillar with the sls's. If you do want to try the 10" Aura's though, I have one I will send you that I am not using. Added note, the 12" is the same depth. Yes I jam the Preist and Maiden, went to a Maiden concert earlier this year. For this kind of music, I suggest taking full advantage of the mids and cross them higher for more output in this range than you can get from the 3's. Think more mid-range than mid-bass. You can't boost what isn't there. We are at the mercy of how the material was recorded. With lars as an exsample, he has his drums very heavily mic'ed when recorded.

I did the classic 80s tattoo the other day, its was a naked chic straddling a guitar. I put giant titts with big pink gum drop nipples.

The pods look good!! Looks like you got your first taste of vinyl and glue. As far as recomendations on sealing the pod to the door, I don't think it will do much good unless you seal ALL the other holes in the door. I have seen ppl mount PVC pipe to the back of their pods to vent them into the door. One set-up I had like this I went to an upholstery shop and bought high density foam, like you would find in a couch. I then carved a dounut ring to go between the beauty panel and metal door, the foam dounut was about 1' around. It was like a big foam gasket. The foam also keep the plastic from buzzing.

Door Panels.
Which panel is rattling? the inner metal door skin or the plastic panel? Or are both panels rattling against each other? If the metal is vibrating use deadener on it. If its the plastic rattling then you will most likely need to place some pieces of foam between the plastic panel and metal door skin. The foam will decouple the two panels and hold the plastic from resonating/rattling. If you can stop the rattle with your hand, then you have found the problem area. Both methods stated above will act by replacing your hand and stopping the rattle.

So I am pretty set on the Michelin Harmonys all-seasons. I wouldn't mind getting The Bridgestone Blizzacks winter tires, but I hate having to take my car in to have the tires swapped every 6 months. SO I am trolling the local papers for a second set of rims, maybe with tires.
