  1. So run the car with system on and open the hood and visually confirm the fan is turning on when the temp rises.
  2. The box and subs are going to be an eye catcher, Your attention to details is KILLER!! Looking forward to seeing the amp rack installed!!
  3. I think Rudy is thinking the same thing as me. Your cars electrical system can't feed the electric fan enough amps to sufficantly cool the car, with the amplifier on and the car sitting still(no air flow). Upgrading your electrical sounds like a good start.
  4. FI explains what the different options are for in their Technical section on this forum. BTL Enclosure Recommendations - SSA Car Audio Forum There ya go.

  11. I tried to warn you, but at the same time let you know at least its fun! The results are also proving to be worth the effort as you told me too. The sound stage just gets better and better!!
  12. Now thats SEXY!!!!! Your creativity on design is exceptional!!!!! I can't wait to see how the rest of the van comes together. Way to show others how you made a template scribe to transfer to the wood.
  13. I vote the FORD too. The Duramax was sweet when it came out, but that shows how looooong its been since I drove a diesel truck.

  21. Definetly cheaper ways to add mass but when ALL other methods have be exhausted, and thats the next option in line then......Why not. mass is mass, sometimes the ease of install is worth the extra money in my opinion. Once again I apologize for my vague comment on multiple/4layers of deadener.
  22. The Creole food was good for dinner, But it wasn't so nice this morning...............I even ate ice cream after,Come on ICE CREAM.
  23. Bored out of my fucking skull sitting here at work.....what a busy weekend......TGIF for me.
  24. Basicly what I did to my outer skin with the butyl rope, factory cross supports and deadener. It works great other than along the top edge of the outer skin (along the window edge). Due to no support up high and no way to install one either. Thats where I did the extra layers of deadener because the panel was still flexing/vibrating/resonating after ALL other said methods had been employed. Apologies for being so vague with my multiple/4 layers comment.
