Welcome to the IHoP
Did you rebuild the carb? Sounds like your fuel ratio is to high. Does the plug smell like gas when you pull it out?

Suggestions for help with painting welcome!
I am no painter, nor do I even enjoy it, but I will give my thoughts. The enamel primer should of sealed the MDF. Are you using a spray gun for the green? Is the paint fresh or is it leftovers that have been sitting?

Help choosing a 10 inch midbass driver.
Whats the best way to paste a video? I assume start a you tube account. I just did the A B comparision between the 10 and 12, and the 12 wins hands down on all fronts. SO commence with the build!!!!! I am ordering another 12 here directly!!! I already have a stash of Damplifier (30 sq or so) SO I am good there.

Other than being horribly stupid for buying a new car, no big deal. Sure the 4 Runner is fine. He told me their price on it was like 33k, which I guess was only 500 over invoice, but I was like jeez that's still a lot. I'm not really sure why they wanted to buy new. He's never bought any new car in his life, so maybe that's why? I think she got hers new. I guess they'll find out how it goes. And a 2 year old one is nearing 20k... My W just had to have the "just released " model of the Xterra when she went car shopping. The just released version was the only way to get a 6-speed, among other things. I finally payed that MoFo off, and my 33k is now worth about 16-18k. I personally will NEVER buy a brand new car, but thats what the W wanted.

OMG this shit is funny... Labs are so ducking fumb. Any dog that is untrained will be dumb. There aren't many dogs that will gladly jump into a frozen lake and retrieve a duck for me, I wove my labs I love my lab to death, but that doesn't make her any smarter. shes still pushy like a school girl.

Help choosing a 10 inch midbass driver.
I am hoping to make a baffle for the 10" and compare that some today, The low end on the 12" is a monster. I also plan on adding a few more layers of damplifer pro to the door this morning, The 12" is pushin' some air and having its way with the door.

OMG this shit is funny... Labs are so ducking fumb.- Help choosing a 10 inch midbass driver.
The low end is definetly not choked off. The top end is what gets nasty, anything over 400 sounds like rattling cone. Why the hell not? Hehe:D Thank you sir. I am hoping to knock the doors out alittle quicker this time. K.I.S.S. You know it is!- Help choosing a 10 inch midbass driver.
Heres a progress pic, of the 12" Aura being tested in the door. With about as soild of a baffle as I can get.......I took a ton pictures to get to this point and will post if anyone is interested? And a Question for you Sean or anyone else, in the next pic, IS the hole into the door lagre enough? this is as big as the first hole/metal can get due to the window motor. Let me know what you guys think, especially you Sean, Brad and Seth. (the techs) Testing, testing........is this thing on? He,he. So far I had about 10-15 minutes play. I already changed the slopes to 18 from 12db and that seems to clean up the sig more. I am crossing at 50-80 on bottom and 250-400 on top for testing. I will test more today, on my drive to work and report more a little while later today. The blue tape is covering little holes. The foil tape is on the edges of the LLP, which I left on the door and sandwiched like a big gasket.- 4 DP21 Wall Build
Sweet vid, even if it was short and hardly tuned!!! I can't wait to see more. You had the air a buzzin', My lips wanted to do raspberrys just watchin'.hehe.- Health check
Good luck on your goals!!! I am rooting for you.- Welcome to the IHoP
Come on FRIDAY!!!!!- Welcome to the IHoP
I use Faber-Castell and Micron brand pens at work for stencils. Rollerball or fountain? I use the fountain. Both brands use india ink, which is what kind of ink my hectogragh machine needs to work. These pens are loved by many of artists.- Dan208's simple little system.
Clean and simple, I like it!! Looks like you got bit by the audio bug already though........- BanginGMC's Build Log | The Rebuild
I got my eye out, bring on the pics.lol. Sounds like you finally made up your mind on the sub stage!!! I can't wait to see the progress. How are the type-r's treating you? Are you still interested in the aiming rings for the 6.5's? I didn't forget about ya, I've just been busy.- 95 Eclipse Father/Son Project
The rear bumpa' looks clean. The tower style amps are interesting, I can think of all kinds of different ways to mount them. ALMOST time to start enjoying the car!!!!!- Help choosing a 10 inch midbass driver.
Sounds like I am clear for take off with the 12"s. ( I just wanted to know its limits) I got the first sheet of 3/4" birch cut and mounted to one door today. (pics coming) That MoFo is already WAAAAAAY more solid!!! I am fairly happy with the 3", but would like to add a tweeter for the top. I understand that this doesn't need to be a fancy or expensive tweeter. What frequency should I plan on crossing the tweeter at? Do I need to bandpass the 3"? I don't think the 3" is audible at or above 12khz, but I could be wrong. Any suggestions for a tweeter?- damplifier pro to seal a door???
I think any holes smaller than a couple inches would be fine. Any bigger than that will start to have diminishing returns. - 93 Fleetwood Caddy build.
