Head unit keeps turning off then back on
I personally bypass all plugs other than the actual one on the back of the radio. I soilder and heat shrink any other connections that need made. I definitely discourage the use of any crimp connectors. If you are using an aftermarket plug to attach to another plug before the plug on the stereo, I would run a couple zip ties around that aftermarket plug, if you are not willing to bypass it. Are you stating that you have the constant battery power and power wire connected together? Not sure why you would have two power wires hooked to one wire on the stereo? Should only need one to the red wire that is a keyed on power source, and a second wire to the yellow which is a constant battery source. The only other thing I could see being with the actual head unit is a glitch in the software. Which pioneers are known for. Would not see hitting a bump triggering an issue in that unless something is causing a surge. Perhaps a surge caused by those two power wires having slightly different voltage. If you feel like it is a glitch in the software it is suggested to reset the head unit three or four times. Perhaps pull the stereo out and wiggle all the wiring aggressively and see if you can emulate the problem.

Gainesville was beautiful. As was the college as well. She was just not feeling it. If I had to guess, Ole miss will probably be the pick if it’s one that direction. Or Georgia for their double dawg program. Which is structured to allow completion of eight years of education in six.

Head unit keeps turning off then back on
I personally start with the super simple stuff first. If there is a issue with the wire from the fuse box to where you are hooking to it, bypassing it will reveal that. The next thing I would suspect is the plug on the back of the radio is getting pressed against something once pushed into the dash. What vehicle is this in?

That would be neat. I enjoyed all the video and pics I’ve seen so far!

Perhaps run a temporary power wire and see if it solves the problem.

The Fox body at about 3:30 looks insane. A subwoofer as a foot rest under the desk helps for effect!!

Super noob. Add subs without changing headunit?
It is a user controled device that lets you fine-tune what frequencies/signals are going to each speaker. Usually controlled from a handheld controller or a laptop/tablet. You would feed a single imput signal of 20-20khz from your head unit into it and the device would allow you to break the signal up from there. It is not absolutely necessary, as there are usually crossovers on the amp that will let you narrow the signal down. It is nice though to be able to control everything on the fly from the listening position/driver seat. They also have a more elaborate EQ to work with. Most nowadays will let you EQ each speaker individually.

Are you interested in running a DSP? If so there is a slew of options.

Annikya got excepted to CU this week. Has been excepted to four other mid level colleges also. The one she is waiting on and that I think she prefers is Washington state. It is a good sign that CU excepted her, as it is on about the same tier.

That’s the plan!!! The only thing that could possibly get in the way is my daughters graduation. Need to check the dates and see how they correspond. I have a friend up in Fort Wayne I hope to visit also.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I feel you. The few times my parents did go on vacation they did not take the children. On the other hand I had hitch hiked over half the country by the age of 20.

That still blows my mind you were almost 40 before you flew on a plane. Would be one thing if you lived in the middle of the jungle, but damn you live in Indiana.

Re-reading my post... Meant to say exercise in the pool. Guess I had stretching on the brain when I was typing.

Beyond a competent masseuse, stretching in the pool has to be one of the best things I have ever felt for my hips. Assume you are talking about the Embral?

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Will do. Only took about 16 hours and could easily be emulated in half that time. So you better start collecting parts. At this point in life I would give a left nut for a garage twice the size.
