It going fair, Alot of it seems like finding the right slope. I have only listened for about an hour, So only tryed a few combos. the sub I am trying to keep @50, as far as between the mid and high I trying to get as close to 200 as I can, but keep trying everything down from 400. I turned the left drivers down 1 notch also after doing the t/a. I will be installing some poly fill in the dash pods this morning also. As soon as I have questions, you sir will be getting a PM.

here's a pitcure of the grill's they make for the fostex. The funniest shit is the mid bass drivers fuckin' move the door panel and make the grills keep falling off.

The pitcures sure do make them look like there far away but I can barely put my finger inbetween. I will get some more pitcures in the morning light that is more forgiving.

I got the last pod put in this morning!!!!! Now its tuning time. the drivers side.... and the passengers from the drivers seat..... Some close ups... Here's what it looks like sitting in the passenger seat. and from the drivers seat. They sell grills that are made for these Fostex, BUT they cost 40 bucks each so I wanted to make sure I like the drivers before I spend 80 bucks on grills. Now all thats left to do is button up a few loose ends and tune everything.

As long as the yellow wire coming off the HU is 12ga or smaller, your good. Honestly its more likely a loose conection and if you find that and fix it first you don't really need to worry about running a new wire.(unless you want to)

Interesting. Didn't know this. Read the manual.

I do know that the cda-9886 has a large yellow contant power wire that is recommended to be hooked to the battery and NOT to the origianl factory harness. I don't see this causing your problem but you never know. Did you personally install this HU?

I got one dash pod installed yesterday and should have the other one done this morning. Then its picture time. And yes the MID BASS IS EPIC!!!

This picture gives them wheels SOOO MUCH more justice. LOoks clean, jelly bean,haha.

The rope he has is infact for installing windsheilds. I buy my butyl rope at the local parts store. and yes they are the same thing.

I wanted to add the reason competors have HUGE banks of batterys is they are trying to get one simotanious BURST OF POWER all at once, not what regular ppl need. Alot of things get carried over to the normal world from competition, but massive battery banks should NOT be one of them. waste of money for the average system.
