J-Roadtatts Honda Accord Build
Well I searched the web via Google and the uphostery guys said to use the high temp 3m glue, as the temp is what makes the regular 3m super 77 let go. I found this 3m high temp glue so I will be buying some for the rest of the pods. Especially for the dash pods, because they will see alot of temperature changes. http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Detail.aspx?R=MMM08090_0006436287

Two-way active front stage
Hey Sean, I know the kid was long winded in his post BUT he did state he was changing the output goal in exchange for SQ. I will definetly agree with the listening to more kinds of music because they sounded better.

Two-way active front stage
So up the a-pillar or stacked in the door are both exceptable mounting options for the line array? if up the apillar, do they need to be mounted plum or can they follow the slope of the pillar? I was unsure about the 2" dome, but definetly seem to learn quicker by being corrected, So I stand corrected.

Thanks for all the LOVE guys!!! I can't wait to have the front stage installed, BUT I am incapable of hurrying. I am using the 3M super 77 glue on the vinyl, which works pretty good but I wonder if there is something out there thats better for my application? Does ANYONE know of a better glue with higher bonding strenght than the 77?????

Two-way active front stage
I would LOVE to see a line array of 2"er's done, I just didn't have the room in my small car. I do on the other hand plan on doing a line array in a future vehicle. My question to you Sean is, What would be the correct placement of the line array? i.e. flat across the dash, stacked up the a-pillar, along the sun visors, on the doors? LIke I said in the other topic, IF the 3" full ranger doesn't make me happy with output, I will use the Dayton 2"dome. Hey NCSU, What do you think of the 2" Dayton dome?

Hey Brother, I can see you are still working on designing your front stage. Its not that I advise against starting a new thread, BUT do recommend that you DON'T start a new thread with the same tittle and put a link to the other thread in the first post. Anyways I think you are fine continuing this thread. I personally have never played with horns, BUT If thats the route you are interested in I would try finding people with horns to give you advice. (maybe start a topic about horns?) I don't know what your conversation intailed with ID on the phone, but something you said must have gave them the idea you wouldn't be happy with anything less than the expensive horns? Once again IDK because I have never used horns and didn't hear the phone convesation. NOW that you are considering SQ are you open to a 3" full range driver with a monster midbass driver? This would really open up your choices on midbass drivers. Otherwise I recommend some auto tweeters from Madi Sound, They are in the budget, and will be the easiest to fit by far out of the three options I am considering for you. I think at this point the Techs on here want to see YOU make a choice on what YOU are going run for highs, and then they will probably help you dial in the rest. IDK just a guess brother, as I am in the same boat as you.

ugh, at the moument I am EPICly sick. Anyways here's the pics as promised. Me doing some bondo. the vinyl being installed. installed on the door. installed in the car. the above pic shows the spot I had to readjust in the vinyl. Its funny that in different light the pods match differently.the next pic probably show the color best. I had to pull the pod back off an adjust the vinyl some more. I had the wife help the second time with the vinyl and everything went alot smoother.

If they still sounded good at 3/4 gain then run them there. The cleaner the signal, the better.

J-Roadtatts Honda Accord Build
I have one pod wrapped and mounted, but need to pull it off to do some final adjustments on the vinyl. The vinyl is a mutherfucker to wrap without having a seam. I wrapped the one pod by myself and it took 2 hours. I think the second one will go easier with my wife helping, 4 hands instead of two, we will see? The next option is to just paint them and say fuck the vinyl, we will see? I have pictures of the one installed I will post later.

Mothers Day Present
At least I'm not the only one that asked mom for an amp for christmas.lol. She bought me an Alpine m2000 for x-mas. My mother has gone out of her way for me SO MANY times in my life, I am glad to have reached an age that I can show appreciation and give back some.

Mothers Day Present
This Topic is to show off what you are getting your mother or wife for mothers day this year or maybe what you have gotten her in the past. For those people that need help deciding, maybe you can get some Idea's in here. I will start first, MY mother is VERY hard to shop for. SO I usualy try to build things for her. This year I am kinda cheating, but will still be building some of it. I got her three presents, the first one is an arrow head display. Here's how I built it, I got the arrow heads from my brother-in-law, who is Blackfoot Indian. His uncle hand knacked these just for my mother, this may be one of the biggest arrow/spear heads you will ever see. how they came..... kinda looks like a dildo,haha..... These are clear smoke colored and you can see the grain in them.... I bought the shadow box at Hobby Lobby and the crushed velvet there also. I might find a small LED light to mount inside the frame too. I found these two wall hangings for her also. I don't really care for southwestern decorations myself, BUT my mom loves them. I am buying the wife an Ipod Touch 32gb, nothing worth having a pic of. SO lets see what you guys got.

Welcome to the IHoP
NOW I got my story straight. and the badge. Obviously I likey this car ALOT, probably the fact its my favorite color and looks SO FLY. I never thought I would be checking out BMW's, let alone thinking about buying one. I have always wanted a car thats AWD but am not that fond of Audi's, SO I was happy to hear that the BM'ers came in AWD also. My biggest thing with any car is being familliar with what they require for maintenance, LIKE a Honda needs a timing belt and tune-up every 60,000 miles, and about the ONLY other thing that will ever wear out is the CV joints and clutch. Otherwise the Hondas have VERY LOW maintenance. What should I expect for routine maintenance on a BMW, NOT what a book says but what a BMW owner says, and has experienced first hand?

Welcome to the IHoP
how much are you asking for the M5? SO I went over and talked to my neighbor with the BM'er. Its a 2002 326i. So the first question I ask her (Rebecca, cute little 21 yr old) ) is how it handles in the snow? She tells me that its AWD. WTF, I didn't relize you could get an AWD BM'er. The next question is of course, how often does it need work or breakdown? how does she like it? Man if a 21 yr old girl can afford one, I should be driving one too.haha.

If my ATV knowledge is still keen that looks to be a late 80's Honda 300 4x4 The Honda TRX's have looked pretty much the same since the late 80's. Even the new ones look about the same.

If you are happy with the output of the 6.5's and they blend then don't worry about changing the aiming. As far as the gain go's, the drivers might not sound distorted, but will start to sound VERY strained. What is the output voltage on your HU? you will have to look it up in the HU specs. What do you have the gain set to? what frequency and slope are you crossing the comps over at?

I can't find what I posted before, I'll try to condense it. Dextrose is the simplest form of sugar that we can eat. It is basic energy for cells, and replenishes the stores. It makes the biggest insulin spike and converts to blood glucose ASAP. Glucose is basically Dextrose, just in the blood stream. Using it right after a work out has some other advantages. To sum it up, right after a good work out you have a few things in your body you want to take advantage up. Blood flow, high growth hormone levels, etc. You also want to stop some bad things like cortisol. Cortisol is the hormone that tells your body to break down muscles rather than fat for energy. Physically right after a work out blood is routed to the muscles you just used, so you get the sugar to them when you take it right after a work out. Chemically it's a bit more complex but it basically sets off a growth chain reaction. Sugar and a high insulin spike stop cortisol. Insulin helps shuttle nutrients into cells from the blood. It also works with growth hormones and is beleived that in the climate in vivo right after a good workout increases the bodies growth factors. It can increase it to mega super big amounts(technical term). Since you're also taking in protein right then it helps replenish cells with protein lost or broken durring the excercize. Everything works with synergy to quickly and efficiently get the muscle cells replenished. Matt you rock, thanks. Thanks for the tips Brother, you do Rock.
