  1. Colorado, the only state they will give you a rental with a cracked windshield.
  2. The tone ring is internal on the unit bearing. The bearing came with the sensor already installed. I did Timken bearings, which are the OEM. I still plan on reversing the wires first. Nissans have some dumb shit going on, so would not be surprised.
  3. Realistically a bent over pin in the remaining plug or faulty sensor. Even though they came new with the bearing, a faulty sensor would not surprise me. I kept the old ones just in case. So yeah I’ll start with the simple shit. Could be a slew of other things too, as it’s tied in to the anti-slip and body roll control. The light came on after doing the wheel bearings and brakes though so highly unlikely.
  4. Looked up the damn schematic for the ABS sensor that I had to solder. Turns out the passenger side wires do not follow color through the plug. That would explain the ABS light. DOH.
  5. Took the X to the mechanic for the death wobble. spinning and rebalancing the tires seemed to of worked wonders. Thankfully as I really didn’t feel like buying a new set of tires this week.
  6. Only one way to bring a new item to the market.... guns a blazing!!
  7. I believe it. Sounds like you are in a heavy car culture area. You’ll have people lined up like dominoes, falling in your door.
  8. I’m beyond excited! She doesn’t like anyone to be there, otherwise would be watching the whole thing go down.
  9. Grandbaby #2 should be here today!!! They are at the hospital getting induced already.
  10. Oh Hell..... Why not?!
  11. The lower midrange on the W18 was uncanny real. Def gotta try them again. You nailed it too, need to trim them in a little more on the settings next time. The dash mat was really the game changer. Hesitated putting it in, as I hate the sight of them. Oh boy did it clean things up.
  12. I'm a HUGE fan of the individual wrapped coils. Usually not a fan of foam mattresses. Tried the Beauty-rest Silver recently and was very pleasantly surprised. Felt like a good balance of the two. Possibly worth a test drive Ryan.
  13. Amusingly the RS’s have tickled me the most so far. They stay very well composed at my listening level. Crystal clear would be my description. I’ll humbly admit it has taken swapping out a few in a short period of time to get 100% confident that I am getting the most out of my crossover settings. Now it’s on like Donkey Kong!
  14. The grinder is definitely my favorite and most versatile tool. When in doubt, break the grinder out!
  15. What material did you recover it with? I wouldn’t mind seeing a picture?
  16. Now dealing with some wicked wheel wobble. Was on the passenger side and minimal before doing will bearings and tire rotation. Now is on the driver side and fairly severe. Pretty sure I have a radial belt separation going on. Possibly a bent rim. Have not been impressed with the BFG KO2’s. Really not going to be impressed if this is in fact true.
  17. 2006 Nissan X. After making a prognosis I started with the simplest thing. Which was the key fob. Long behold that was the root of the problem! Removed the battery and found my extra fob and all is well.
  18. I go stir crazy AF this time of year. Definitely make sure to have enough projects lined up to keep depression at bay.
  19. Poppin' sum' tweeter cherry's this week! The RS180's tickled me so much I figured I better see what the Dayton tweets could do! Thanks again Sean for lending me equipment to play with! Being on someone else's dime has been an excellent driving force to stay motivated.
  20. Also got started on a new painting!!
  21. Started working on my Mustang man cave couch. Looks like its going to fall together nicely!
  22. Yesterdays fun! Installed a 22uf cap in place of the 47uf. Should make it a little more zippy. Also changed the coil gap ratio so shouldn't lose too much inertia. Had replaced it a few months ago already, but 10 year+ old cap was defunk. lol
  23. Hopefully they installed a fire system on the newer ones.
  24. Shit, they're all about that way anymore.
  25. The newer Volvo’s definitely have gorgeous styling. Very well executed. About the only other newer cars that catch my eye as much are the merc’s or Porsche’s. Excluding exotic sports cars of course.
