  1. Most of I-15 in Utah is 80 mph speed limit. Had driven through Montana also when they had no speed limit. The signs read “drive a safe and prudent speed”
  2. Funny. I’m getting to the age where I need power naps.
  3. I took the weekend off for Anni’s state cheer finals.
  4. They definitely throw down on some grub down there. Curious what the speed limit is where you are from? I don’t recall Texas being crazy high.
  5. Welcome to SSA!! Have any build’s planned?!
  6. Killin’ it!!
  7. Welcome to SSA!!
  8. I bet they are. I have the sport ones. Love them for yard work.
  9. Hanging out with baby Mila today!
  10. The first half of the day anyways.
  11. I still dream of a Leviathan amp every now and then. Did you get your brakes done Aaron?
  12. I have an occasional few every now and then. Other than that I’ve drank enough for two lifetimes. Growing up in the family bar was a great start.
  13. I’m proud of you brother. Keep up the good work.
  14. 20+ years of heavy drinking and chasing split tail has definitely taken a toll on me. Those are my two demons.
  15. In all truth can’t say it does much for me either. Helps with pain. Would say helps with creativity, but I’m pretty much in my own universe naturally. Lol
  16. Fur burgers!!!!! YUMMM!!!!!
  17. Same thing as everyday Ryan. Drum roll-ur-owns and Hogs Breathe(great for nerve pain). whatchu smokin’ dude?!
  18. Thanks Aaron! I really like the Troels style designs. Where each driver is in independent cabinets. Has been a blast! Excited to build a few more.
  19. What’s everybody cooking for meat this Thanksgiving? I am going to smoke a turkey and probably a pork butt.
  20. Limping like a wounded animal today. Had the other knee/thigh tattooed this last week. Had to order a breakfast of champions this morning, hold the beer.
  21. I’d find a spot in the trunk/bottom of the car that you can feel both sides at the same time with each hand. That’s the spot! You won’t even need a helper to put the nut on. I suspect the grounds under the hood are mostly at fault at this point. Sounds like the ground in the trunk is at least satisfactory. The battery ground to engine/battery ground to body/amp to body. Those are the ONLY control points. If those are done, the amp ground is basically “independent” from the car ground so to speak. Make sure to use the same size wire for all grounds. So if your amp uses 0ga, use 0ga for the under hood grounds. Reconnect the factory ground to the battery also. VOILÀ!!
  22. Who knows what a microphone would say though.
  23. Has been an eargasmic week! Running these in a 2.5 config, with both woof's playing to 50hz and the bottom guy playing up to 400hz. The mid being sealed. Got lucky I think with this combo, with phase tracking etc. ONly had to match the levels and set the x-overs. Still have yet to need any eq'ing, even after plowing through the same half a dozen cd's I've been tuning with for the last year! lol
  24. Sounds like you are on the right track. My suggestion would be replace your battery terminals first. Then run a new ground from the battery to the engine block, and another ground to the body. Would probably reconnect the factory ground to the battery also. If you don't want to fork for fancy terminals that except multiple large wires, then use an RV/boat style terminal. Other than that, get a wire wheel for your drill and buff all ground connection points to shiny bare metal. That includes any factory ground points also. As far as grounding in the trunk. I would drill a hole all the way through the trunk floor. Somewhere you can get to from the outside also. Then use a bolt with a lock nut on the underside. Let me know if you need pics.
  25. Damn. She ought to be able to sell a ketchup popsicle to someone in a white suit.
