  6. I have the Stinger 12 ga speaker And It is VERY SOFT. Lick a spaghetti noodle. Easy to run through the door bootys. I Have the Knu (1/0, 4ch RCAs, 2ch RCAs)for everything else and they are Definetly STIFF. I will try the Stinger for sure the next time, Thanks.
  7. Welcome to the forum. How do you like your CDA-9886?
  8. Hey I am getting ready to move my spare tire nubby, and had a thought. if you really wanted your nubby back you could go to a salvage yard and take one out af another car to weld back in yours. Or if you had basic metal tools you could make a new? Just some idea's for ya.
  9. Great job!!! Gotta have a spare. Looks like all the hard work payed off for you!!!
  10. The wall looks badass!!! You guys in Florida don't mess around. lots of props to you for a job well done!!!
  11. They are fun to build. Only took about 8 hours for both. I can see why Ed Roth loved to build out of fiberglass!!!!!
  12. Made the type-r's sound a ton better on axis. They sounded so bad behind the factory cover I wanted to replace them. the pods make them have a pretty decent response and WAY MORE output.(for a speaker with such low eff. 86db@1w/1m)
  13. Ya I know a empty trunk is boring. So heres some pics of the front doors for you picture whores. Built these last summer. Didn't take any pics though.
  14. I seen they have that Karma wire in 8ga. I might have to get some.
  15. Like the saying goes "it ain't gonna suck its self". I finally got a little time to this morning to get started, and jumped right in. Even though it was below 0 degrees outside. I got everything pulled out from the middle of the car back. Holy f*cking Batman, the road noise is insane driving like this. Sounds like I'm driving through a tunnel, can hear every f*cking pebble. Whats going on in here? No more 6x9s Look at this tunnel of noise over the wheel well!!! the other side of the tunnel. both sides have it. Looks like I will be filling the tunnels with expanding foam.
  16. Congrats on a job well done!!! Gotta love the feeling.
  17. Damn! that box looks solid.

  21. Checked the mail this mornig and found a few more pieces to the puzzle! Now I just gotta get the wood!!!!!
  22. Free is always good. I work with my brother so we trade.
  23. The first advantage I can see is you are making two 1/0 ga runs to the alternator. I don't think it would matter if you run the second 1/0 from the alt to the front or back battery. Other than that you should look at a wire ga rating chart, could depend o how much power your trying to move. maybe someone smarter than me can chime in.
  24. I got more 1/0 wire this week from brown santa! The Knu Knocept high staind count wire is no joke. The kit is to run a second run front to back. I will be redoing my big three with this wire also! The smaller wire is 8ga for the sub. The bottom picture is the cheap ass wire I have now compared to the Knu wire.
