  1. The allergies patch test sucked. After a week of wearing them I was in full flare up. Was like herpes all over the place.
  2. IIRC she did the Embral bc the 7 day dosing is easier to keep track of. I am just happy how much its helped the poor girl already and you. When my Eczema and skin allergies were at the worst, I looked and felt like I had shingles all over my body. So I feel your pain.
  3. Awesome job on the doors Brother! Pulling That off takes a whole nother level of commitment. Did you get them covered or finished?
  4. Dude, you are set. Take your time, especially with the screwdriver near the speaker. Mucho important. If it where me, I would start by removing what you need to gain access. Then inspect the wiring. It is possible you will find a pinched or partially sliced wire. If not that, then I would plan on swapping and testing the tweeter and crossovers next. Would suck to get the new one and have the same problem. Testing will set your mind at ease, one way or the other. You will be confident in knowing what to do next. The pic suggestion would be to reference how the wires are hooked up. If there are connectors like the ones in the pic, then taking a pic might not help much. But there may be a white line on one wire, in each set. In which case reference from that. One way or the other, just make sure you are comfortable knowing where the wires hook back up, BEFORE disconnecting. Label them, etc.
  5. Any screwdriver will work. Just be careful not to poke a hole in the speaker. Easy to slip, if your not on your game. Are the tweeters mounted in the door? Do you know how to remove the door panel? nothing to it but to do it! Or attempt anyways. When you hit a road block, come back and ask. At this point you need to go for it.
  6. I found out I'm allergic to about 90% of man-made chemicals, most likely from over exposure. Everything from soap and lotion to paint and heavy metals. Has been a motherfucker adjusting, Being how hands-on I am. Was living on Benadryl there for a while.
  7. I take it your ready to get home?
  8. Hey Matt! Long time no talk, you sexy beast. Good to hear the Embral is working well for you. The wife started it a few weeks ago, for her RA. Has helped a bunch with her mobility already!
  9. No special method of taping needed, just enough to keep the bare ends from touching anything. Electrical tape is easy to remove, so no worries there either.
  10. You should be fine playing the other side, just tape the wires off. Probably would not hurt if you take a picture or labeled the wires, for reinstallation.
  11. You could cut them but you might screw yourself on wire length later. Most have a cover the pops off and the wires just screw on. Awesome go on the warranty!!
  12. On the plus side I got my door baffles built this morning!
  13. On my way to my 20 year reunion.
  14. Things are definitely reaching critical mass rapidly, and a world revolution isn't far off imo. Which will be good. The current system Is at a breaking point. People need to wake up and quit being lead by their fears egos and beliefs.
  15. I'm still running win7 at home and work. if its not broke, don't fix it. Curious what does win10 bring to the table?

  18. How was Germany? Anything noteworthy this trip?
  19. Seeing your kiddo will make it al worth while brother.
  20. Yeah, I think I will scratch any extra bracing. I can there would be minimal at best gained and lots of volume lost. Thanks again everyone!
  21. I gathered the no symmetry, the second time around reading the cookbook. After cutting the braces. Doh. Will adding a few randomly placed triangle braces be a good bandaid at this point. Anything worth doing is worth doing right my opinion.
  22. Thanks for the kind words Randy. Life got crazy busy there for a minute. It feels good to be back.
  23. Gracias señor nem. Looks like it's time to glue and screw.
