I have it in a Ported 3.5 Cubic Feet Box, tuned to 32 hurtz Sounds great. And on its loudness, i haven't heard any other subs before that are at this level, so i have nothing to compare too .

He probably was talking about whatever song your were jamming too, but it seems to me like you started braging (like he look how loud it can go, watch out for stunts like those it could leave you systemless one day). But i took out the switch that opens the trunk from the inside of the car, and you can only get into the trunk with a key. And i'm about to secure the box an amp with locks into the trunk. My cousin got his, two RF t1's , box, and t1000. Worse thing is he payed RETAIL. wheww. But no that guy didn't have any beefs with the song, he literally jus went crazy lol

Ya i had some guy last night, Literally i had my system (its nothing special) playing 2/5 way up and he's smiling like cool shit dude. So i gave it some more power, and it was really thumping. Now i don't condone riding through your nieghboorhood and constantly pound your subs just because your can and feel like being a meanie. I'm sure alot of you have tickets for loud music, but i was wondering. Have any of you tried to fight them, or just paid them? I'm thinking if the cop comes up to you and starts talking about the music. Aslong as you don't open up your trunk and just agree with him WITHOUT admitting to the crime, and lead the cop to believe you will just pay the ticket. Technically if you plan on defeneding that ticket you could tell the judge. I don't know why he gave me this ticket, but i'd never argue with a cop. -I was not playing really loud music as accused. Basically for the courts to give you a ticket, they have to be able to prove it<- The cop could not have any proof, if you did NOT admit to playing loud music while talking with him, (yes cops write down what you say whenever they're in their cars and your waiting) -Hence, they come up and say *Do you know why i pulled you over* , if you say 'ya i was travelling a little fast' , you just admitted to speeding. . . (same with subs, ya i had my music up a little) Anyways, if the cop didn't see any sub's and you didn't admit. I don't see any way that you could not beat that ticket. Sry for so much text but law takes explaining. What do you guys think?

I believe the juggernauts are pure SPL speakrs (or was that the Dreadnauts :/ ) lol The juggernauts slam real hard, but i ain't ever heard a Q. I'm thinking that it would be close to a SPL sub traded for a SQ sub. . But i'd take the opinion of someone who's heard both subs before mine anyday. -check the prices on a 15 jugg compared to what you paid for the 18 Q, - and check around some forums on what people say about the juggy-

Ya theres plently of room to face it down, in terms of excursion. So facing it downward in the trunk won't affect it at all mechincally. Because its facing directly toward a wall with not much air space between. . . .

i was also wondering if i'm losing some 'hit' towards the inside of the car because its faced upward? If it doesn't matter which way it faces, and all different directions will give the same impact of bass for the passengers then i'll just leave it the way it is. But if it makes a difference then i'll rearrange my box.

Will it make a difference if i have the subs pointed toward a wall thats close in front of them? Or if theres alot of space between it and the next object?

Ya my box has 'feet' on it, Because home depot can't cut a dam board right lol There on the same side as the sub so it could face downward easily, hmm good idea lol. Also the port is on the same side as the sub. (front)

Not sure if this belongs somewhere else. . Okay, because i have a hugeee box for my sub that barely fits in my trunk of my crown vic. ya lol The sub faces upward toward the trunk. Whenever i turn up the volume my trunk piece flexes and moves like crazy. Although it doesn't sound as bad as those 200 watt shitty bass system that is just rattle. The previous owner of my car put some type of insulator in all of the cracks that would normally rattle in my car, not sure what he used. But the only thing that moves like crazy is the dam trunk hood thing itself. If i face the sub toward the license plate there would be about a minimum of 10" inches possibly more , between in and the end of the trunk. And closer to 2-4" inches if i face it toward the back seats. (my box has a lip on the end so the subs wouldn't be right next to the wall of the trunk) Does it matter which way i position my subs, or if they're close to a wall? I'd like to clerify before go aiming it at a corner, with my luck i'd break something of course . lol Any info. would help lol, could just be one of those things where i have to listen an go by ear?
