We got about 7" of snow probably, and now today the lovely wind is going to deposit it all in drifts. High of 14* today with wind gusts up to 30mph.

Really? Weird. Weather.com still only forecasts 1-2 tonight, 3-5 tomorrow, 1-3 tom. night, so I guess 5-10" here. Which is higher than it was just a bit ago. I guess they're adding on. Yep, you are to far east to get the most of this I think, and not far enough north (not that we are any farther north than you are).

I correct myself, the new forecast is 9-17" of snow.

In preparation for this I found the landlords snowblower in our garage yesterday, drained the carb, cleaned the plug, filled up with fuel, and ran it for awhile to make sure it works. Its a 9hp Craftsman one, neat thing about it is that if you plug it into 120v outlet you have electric start.

We are supposed to get 5-8" of snow tomorrow, with 20-30mph winds. If the snow happens I foresee some rather large drifts in my future.
