I cannot find a better moniter than the hanns g 28. not at that size even if we throw out price point. There may be better, but I couldn't find it. I'm actually thinking of ordering a 2nd one. I've been using a 19" Widescreen Hanns G for three or four years now and it has held up just fine, don't have a complaint about it, especially for the price.

If this is your first time with that much power, yes, 4kw is probably to much and you will end up ruining something. Refurbs are always going to be cheaper than new, sometimes quite a bit because they are not new, they are used, fixed, looked over, whatever be their prior life be, they have been checked out to insure they are in proper working condition. They normally don't carry the same warranty as a new one, or be as good of shape (general statement, not only pertaining to the amps in question). Personally I wouldn't worry about it being a refurbished amplifier, it is going to be checked out to make sure that everything performs as desired so their shouldn't be problems, remember though, it is still a piece of used equipment and stuff happens.

200$ is not a lot of money for a properly done installation for everything. I realize it may seem like a lot for you depending on your financial situation. If you get a well thought out plan of what you want though and look for good deals on used equipment I think you can come fairly close to that budget though.
