Buy what you want the first time, it is cheaper. Believe me. So you don't have enough money for what you want, but your willing to spend 250$ for a temporary fix? It makes no sense, a subwoofer sitting around unused for a couple of weeks isn't going to hurt anything.

But if you were driving 88mph you would achieve 1.21 gigawatts of power out of it.

Better components all around, tighter tolerances, better grade of materials, better circuitry design, layout, filtering (or lack thereof), and a whole slew of other factors will separate the high end from the low end equipment. It all boils down to what your goal is as to what level of equipment you can justify acquiring.

Looking good, but if you would like to save yourself a lot of time and effort, you can just double or triple layer the front baffle instead of using steel.

I should really learn to not drink on weeknights... Makes getting up for work a bitch. My roommate on the other hand can go close down the bars and get up the next morning for work no problem, I don't understand it. I think it is because he consumes quite a bit less by volume than I do we we drink.

Question. Have you measured the voltage at your wall outlet and gotten 115V? It varies depending on time of the day, load, line sag and what not. Question 2. Wtf is 'voltage's amperage'??

What PA amp are you using in home? You will have line sag, overrated amplifiers, and other factors so you won't see the 'max' rated power for any lower end PA amp *cough* Behringer *cough*. I wouldn't worry about it, you can hear when it is going to be stressed, if you hear it turn it the hell down. *edit* Just saw what amp you are using, I wouldn't worry about it to much. Just don't be stupid with it.
