The one problem I had with my Note 7 was it was a type C. I appreciate the moving forward with cables and everything, but it was the odd thing out for me. I also had to buy a special adapter to get my FLIR One module to work with it, most of the C to B adapters were wired wrong for it. Turns out the cable was the least of the Note 7 problems. I know on paper they are very similar but the S7 sucks compared to the Note 7.

Do your research on USB C cables, they are not all the same, and it seems like all the cheap ones are wrong.

Dumb question here, how do the modern electronic speedometers work? I've got schemes of thinking it'd be nice to repurpose one for some instrumentation but I don't know what format their signal input is in... *edit* I mean the analog gages, I couldn't care less about the digital number ones. I want a sweeping dial.

New ones worry me, so much crap to hit the mileage mandates. I'd love a new car but it's be buying used and just not sure of longevity of them and on the new stuff I don't feel it is things I can work on myself. I like the big sedans, they just don't make them like they use to anymore.

Never had plug wire come off before, had plugs die, and plugs loosen up to about falling out though.

I haven't changed 8lbs in over a decade...
