Agreed. I'm just mad that PBR costs so much at the bars. No kidding. I hate bar prices. I can pay 2.75$ for a crap beer special, or go to the local brewery in town and get a real beer for 2.50$...

Thoughts on Stella Artois? I had that when I went to Canada for New Years, and I really liked that stuff. I drink a lot of Stella as it is on tap everywhere here. Sort of a Euro-budweiser, but 1000's of times better than the American equivalent. Agreed.

If you got a little bit of a jump on him, and your car really likes that range, I could quite easily see that. My old S-10 was just damn quick for a 20mph band, and if you got the jump on something a lot faster they had to work to pull back ahead for that little bit.

As I can see they are using some sort of modelling clay on the basket. Is that what you were thinking of doing for treatment ? Probably yes, but wasn't sure how well modeling clay would hold up in the heat they are exposed to in the dash. Possibly sound damping material (most likely some second skin brand). But what Dave (planet10) uses is a hardening paste that he shapes if I remember correctly.

LOL, what a tool. If I'm carrying, I'm sure as fuck don't tell a single damn person about it. Some people know that I carry, the woman and a couple of friends are about it, but no one knows when/if I am actually carrying though. My view on it is that its a concealed carry gun, if it has to be drawn, it has already been decided what exactly is going to happen. Other than that, I sincerely hope no one ever knows when/that I carry.

I think he must have been playing with you some... a SRT has 130 more hp on you, and does the 1/4 2 seconds faster.

It is cone and basket treatment. Now I don't know how much the cone does, but I can't recall seeing any threads on forums about how it doesn't work. The 85k does need some basket work done to it from the factory in my opinion, when I get time I am taking my dash back apart to do some to mine too.

You should get the eNabled 85k drivers from Planet10, I've heard some very good things about them.

Do the micros use the FF85k then?

It depends on what style of horn you are trying to build. There are conical, hyperbolic, exponential, and tractrix (seems to be most popular in DIY community for horns), which are you looking for making? *edit* Then again I'm not sure how well that works with folding it etc, etc...

You should use the miniFonkens and the FE127e driver.

I think the Mag is going to go in the living room of my place, I don't need it in the car and would like a new HT sub. I will probably use a plate amp on it for ease of integration too, haven't decided yet, don't have the money around to buy one so it doesn't matter anyway. Mag for HT = I have nothing but praise for the job it does. I haven't even thrown power at mine, it has been out of the box once to make sure it survived the UPS truck, but that is it.
