  1. So car folks, what brand brake pads should I be looking at for my Buick? Not noisy and dusty.
  2. 225* since 8pm all night, turned it up some this morning around 5:30am.
  3. One of the pork shoulders is coming off the Egg in 20 minutes or so, the second will probably be around 9. Pulled pork for lunch.
  4. Taurus happens?
  5. Somewhat like GMO's, lots of people say they are bad, are the numbers there to say that? Nope, not a one.
  6. We've got mountion lions, rabid animals, rattle snakes, the occasional dog, and other such fun 4 legged critters.
  7. Personal responsibility covers that one. Carrying to me is another version of a seatbelt, do I ever want to use it? Nope, sure don't. But I needed a seat belt once 12 years ago, and if I hadn't been wearing it I'd be dead or in a wheelchair like the other guy who wasn't wearing it. Don't let the media fool you Adrian, buying a fully automatic anything isn't easy. It requires paying a tax to the government, filling out a bunch of paperwork, then waiting a few months, then plunking down enough cash to buy a nice first car and that is on the cheap side. You also can't own one manufactured after May 19, 1986.
  8. Thats what shitty holsters gets you.
  9. If one can't safely and competently handle/carry a firearm when socially drinking, they can't do it sober.
  10. We taking photos of lighting?
  11. Ribbed for pleasure.
  12. Oh how I hate EMI troubles.
  13. Have you looked at putting the NPP exhaust like on a Corvette on Big Ugly?
  14. Agreed. If you need another amp for such purposes, I've got an ART SLA-1 rack amp, 100x2 I think, you can borrow for the cost of shipping it. I helped my brother get a house ready to sell a few months ago, WAY to much work. Its going to be someone else's problem, take the easy way.
  15. Soo.... You seeking new challenges elsewhere then or just changing houses? If it were me, I think I'd just wire them in with the in wall volume pots and leave them be. Let the next home owners actually hook them up, tie the wires up nice and pretty wherever they go to, label them, and leave them. Getting a house ready to sell is enough of a hassle.
  16. Now that I actually read it, you looking for three separate zones then? If you need another amp, I've got an extra rack amp laying around I'd let go of, its a little one.
  17. 3 channels of amplification, going active?
  18. Refurb 1.4 on Canon's site for 250$ if you are interested. http://shop.usa.canon.com/shop/en/catalog/ef-50mm-f-14-usm-refurbished?WT.mc_id=C126149
  19. Oh, rule 1 is think before pushing the shutter button. Rule 2, see rule 1. Rule 3, pay attention to backgrounds. See instant improvement in your photos.
  20. How new is your Canon powershot, there is a big difference in an older 200$ P&S vs a new 400-500$ P&S. That being said a used body with a good 50mm lens would be a great starting point.
  21. Or something similar. I have no desire to lug a body and two lenses around for general photo shots, if photography was still a hobby of mine, sure, but it isn't anymore and I've got enough gadgets that I don't need to add to the pile.
  22. If I had that budget and was looking for a camera I'd probably go walk into Best Buy and buy a Canon G9X.
  23. Sounds like the head gasket problem on Northstar engines.
  24. I would not use stainless just to avoid the galling issues associated with it. You'd hate to have to cut it off first time you need to change something. I'm also a little curious why so many washers/lock washers, if you need something to hold a lock washer is generally useless, use a deformed thread or nylock lock nut.
  25. My wife ruined Pizza. She ordered one for me with anchovies on it.
