  1. I sense a pending business venture..... I certainly hope so. Its amazing what drinking beer with your neighbor can get you into... Need a business major who doesn't know WTF he's doing for the next couple years? I can sweep up, too. If you want to make a trek out to Kansas, sure. Gonna have to find your own source of income for a while but I'd love to have ya.
  2. Ooooooh Not entirely sure wtf I'm doing, but I'd like to make a bi-radial type horn with a low end cutoff somewhere under ~800hz.

  4. Our first family computer had a C1P processor, which if I recall correctly was the first 1MHz machine. We had a 32mb hard drive with it as well, but the hardrive was about 2x the size of a standard microwave. Holy crap!
  5. I think I'm going to make a pair of horn lenses in the next couple weeks using a 2" compression driver...
  6. I remember the first time I saw Windows 3.1 on a color screen...the first time I saw Windows, my dad had an IBM Thinkpad with a monochrome screen, the only thing I had used before was DOS on a PC Jr... And now kids are getting cell phones in elementary school Had the Apple IIe's for first couple years of grade school for typing. You know your 'ballin when you have dual 5.25" floppy drives.
  7. Ahh, just to think, our first family computer had a turbo button that switched from 100mHz to 16mHz, running on a modified Windows 3.1 so you had switchable user desktops (different icons for different people), and 2gig of HD space?
  8. Wow, didn't realize how fast they are advancing HD technology...
  9. I don't necessarily hate mornings, just waking up.
  10. Yep its 35. *laughs at the 40 comment*
  11. Dangit. This bar audio thing has my mind going about a million miles an hour and absolutely not caring about homework and studying...
  12. Now get them badges off of that truck.
  13. I like it.
  14. Don't call them Imperial Horns and change the design slightly. Sounds legal to me I like the way you think...
  15. I'm not sure on how that works with their plans being online and all...
  16. Set of those loaded with some B&C 15" drivers, horns on top, and a DCX2496 running crossover and EQ...
  17. To me this place just screams dual Imperial horns with tractrix horns on top or something....
  18. Um, reallly dumb question here. Since I might have just got talked into doing the audio for the dance side of a bar here in town I'm assuming if I was to build the Imperial Horn and actually sell it that would be illegal?
  19. Think I just walked myself into redoing the speaker setup in one of the bars in Manhattan...
  20. Sons of Anarchy, then turning to South Park later.
  21. Hmmm...
  22. Halfway tempted to just put the sub in the trunk, although I'm worried about how much I'll lose since the trunk is sealed off with the rear seat and the back deck.
  23. Think I'm going to put one or two layers on the rear doors, one layer on the floor, and the rest in the trunk...
  24. Hopefully this weekend I can put some quality time into working on the Cadillac getting the amp rack done, amps mounted, DCX in, sub in, and another roll of Raamat in.
  25. already 56/40 in the Senate for the dems and 213/135 in the House for the dems Its not filibuster proof though thankfully. How many does it take to enact cloture again, 60 I think it was? Yep, 60.
