Didn't end up like last time I played pool with a woman. I made the mistake of bringing my own cue which automatically made me awesome at it in her eyes and didn't want to play against me, so got her convinced that I wasn't that good and I just enjoyed it but the union cues suck. Then the first game I proceeded to run the table, she was not happy with that.

And pulling shots in pool to almost sink the 8-ball and set her up for a decent shot is damn hard... Couple of games I didn't want to beat her that bad so I pulled some of them. Damn that is hard.

If you are going to launch in stop light drags in 4x4 with a nicely modded 5.3, you would rape most everyone. That is if you do stoplight drags, don't know if you do or not.

MK, save your money from making it look pretty and drop it in the drivetrain, make it be able to take a beating with more power, then upgrade the power, then when you got it fast 'enough' then start spending money on look cool. But thats just my take on it.

One of the big problems is you are going to either feel like a chick or a homosexual. Aside from that, if it leaks oil from the drain pan plug it could be a simple gasket issue instead of a major headache. Pay close attention to engine noise - there were issues with the valves tapping/clicking at some point if I remember correctly. I hope it is priced less than $2500. Yea, once I found out it was a miata I made the joke that I won't lower my standards that far... It will be the gayest car I have ever driven that I can think of...

How much $$$ you looking to spend? What kind of match are you looking to shoot? Something you would build for a 3-gun match is going to be different than 1000yd or sniper matches. Honestly it will be for fun 100% right now. If I find I'm good, I may try to compete but who knows. I would LOVE to try a sniper match for sure. I think I would get a huge kick out of it. I originaly wanted a .50 but then got realistic. I didn't like the two 30 06 I have shot, My roomies 7mm mag was sweet, but meh. I looked into the sr 25 but holly crap thats not worth the dollar! I have heard reliablity issues too. I can't remember the name of one of the nice rifles I saw but it was right up my alley. I can't search it at work. They don't beleive in my right to read about my right to bear arms. The only way to get into the top sniper matches is if you are a former/current military/LE sniper or know the right people. The long range shooter on a 2-man sniper team has to be able to engage targets out to 200m with his sidearm too, that's a long fucking ways to hit something with a pistol. As long as you buy a decent AR I'll imagine you'll be plenty happy with it from an accuracy stand point. 200m with a frigging pistol! WTF! The rational is that the sniper carries two guns, his sidearm and his rifle and needs to be able to cover his spotter with the sidearm out into carbine distances then switch to the rifle.

I've heard some good things about the DPMS ones, and they are damn accurate too. If I had an extra 1.3k sitting around I'd go buy me one with about a 22" fluted heavy barrel (target crown), flat top, two stage match trigger, and find some good glass to stick on top of it. Can't say I've heard anything about Fulton, doesn't mean that they aren't good or bad though. Personally unless your really doing the tactical style matches I don't see a reason to get any of the 'tacticool' stuff on a AR, just stick with the basic quality parts and you should be good to go.

Someone I know is going to be buying a '90 Mazda Miata and wants me to look at it and test drive it for them (they are currently still in Iraq), anyone know of any specific problems that occur with that car to be looking for? *Besides the fact it is a Miata...*

Taking a girl out for dinner tomorrow night. Is it bad that the reason I was interested in her when I first met her was the fact she was driving a restored 4x4 Bronco?

Nope, sure don't. If you ever want to polish what you are casting you are going to want a mix that is upwards of 8,000psi concrete though. Is the psi on the packages or is there another way that will let me know which i am buying? Other than running a spread sheet and testing and breaking stuff I don't have a clue. I know some of the concrete counter tops are in the 10-15k range, when you have anything around 5,000psi or lower when you polish it you actually will start ripping out the cement instead of polishing it and you don't have that problem with the higher strength stuff. I'll try and remember to ask at work for you though.
