Dammit, USA doesn't have anyone in the 50m Free Pistol finals, the qualification match just got over.

Sergey (the pistol coach) had to be one chain smoking SOB before and after the match... He smokes like a chimney before and after big matches.

LOL, watching the finals video I can see where Turner f'ed up, got a christmas 10.6 and cussed about it, still hasn't broken that habit.

Jason Turner the guy that took 4th for USA is hilarious to shoot next too. As long as I've known him occasionally during a match if he shoots a bad shot he'll start cussing like a sailor.

Just saw that one of the guys I know that I use to compete against in pistol got 5th in the Olympics in 10m Air Pistol. He was 5pts off of tying the leader, but those 5 points are just damn hard to get. He shot a phenomenal final though, 101.0, second highest final shot. The US took spots 4 & 5, they haven't won a medal in pistol since Eric Buljung in the 80's, who also use to be the national coach and interesting character, and an asshole to boot.

Phelps just kicked everyones ass in the 200m fly. That man is truly amazing. I'd love to see his training schedule to get an idea what he does to stay where he is at, the dedication that man has is unreal.

Got my chiltons manual for the Caddy today, pulling the dash pad off doesn't look to hard at all and hopefully it goes smoothly and can get the 3" in the dash this weekend.

If you use it a lot you I can easily see wearing out the pump in three years. Kobalt should sell a rebuild kit I'd imagine. *edit* Have you checked the air intake side of the compressor? Perhaps the filter collapsed or something on you?

Dammit. The roommate (Josh, the wierd one) is drunk, the most annoying drunk ever. EVER.

You might have just plain ass wore it out, might be time for a rebuild of the pump, new pistons/rings. What kind of compressor is it? If you don't see a leak anywhere, I'd crack the union coming out of the pump and see how much flow you get right out of it.

Ran into that with a couple of friends from that hail storm we had earlier, bunch of bull shit is what it is.

Helped one of the guys down at work put on a trailer hitch receiver over lunch on his Explorer. The previous owner had backed into something on the left side so the bumper was bent in a little and couldn't get the brackets bolted up. So we just got a come-along, strap, and dead manned it to a tree, hooked to the bumper and pulled it back straight.

Working on making an excel sheet of projects that get built down here and what machines are used to complete them so I can go to the dean later and show him the machine usage and maybe get some money to upgrade the shop. This place needs to be ran more like a business and less like a university afterthought. Its getting better but hopefully I can get it running the way I want it in a few years and a hell of a lot more streamlined.

That is also my thinking, anywhere that is just right outside of town I can justify 550-600$ month and not have the fuel bill. I'd really like to be able to do shooting at my house, but it isn't a necessity, a garage however is.

That is what I'm currently trying to decide on... Women always have to throw a kink into plans.

Its out in the country, can shoot whenever I want which would allow me to get back into training for international style, can also start doing longer distance rifle shooting without having to travel home, can have a dog, etc, etc. Downsides are its 20mi out of town, and looking at 150-200$month in fuel.

Might have found a place to live next year thats kinda what I want. Its 20mi away from town though is the only bad part, its sitting on about 100acres there (hog farm to the back side ways off), garage, sheds, nice 2 bedroom 2 bath house, etc, for 400$ a month. The only kicker is its on a hog farm and gonna have to go look at it and see how far away it is for biosecurity issues with home. Move away from the farm at home, get to college, debate on moving back to a house on a hog farm...

Gotta love a rocker switch for a projector screen that went bad and you have to take the cover off and short it to get the screen to move...

Got to get in the country some how...
